I went to coastal concepts for about 5 years. The last time I went there was 10 years ago and I announced to Lisa that I was moving to Florida. I asked her if she had any contacts down in area of Florida U was moving to and she got really nasty with me and said, "why would I give you any contacts when you bought your hair systems online for a cheaper price?" I had gone here for years and had great service and that 1 moment Was uncalled for. She didn't mind me so much when I was coming in there and paying her to have my hair cut and styled including a tip on every trip once a month. And that coming from a guy who didn't make very much money at the time. UPDATE! The owner at the time was LISA. she claimed my review was bogus. Nope! I don't make random reviews on companies that I had no dealing with, LISA! Maybe you should be more respectful to your customers.
This review is bogus. No other way to put it. We have people traveling and moving all the time and we make referrals. I also call the studios to be sure it will be a good fit for the client. Who can fault anyone for moving? This is just ..............bogus. We establish nice relationships with out clients. To treat anyone in this manner would not even make sense.

I was a client for a short time while living in North Myrtle Beach. The salon is well run, and everyone is really nice, especially reception/front desk at that time.

I've been a client of someone in this field for over 35 years. This is my current spot and I can tell you this, I will never leave. I know how confidentiality is very important to us...well, it is even more important to Lisa and her staff. They handle it with the utmost sensitivity! The staff is highly skilled, making sure that all of our needs and concerns are addressed. Did I mention courteous, friendly, and FUN?!! I always leave with a smile on my face.

Lisa and her staff are completely about the needs of the client. They take the time to learn about your likes and dislikes and offer a variety of options to meet your expectations. In comparison to other 'clubs', they know how to cut and style the hair with today's styles. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to make the change to a local hair replacement company to give them a call.

I had a consultation on 02/10/22. After discussing options to "restore" hair to the sides of my head, I decided on a hairpiece that Lisa happened to have in the salon, and that weighed less than 1 ounce, and cost $1200. We also discussed a color and cut for my next appointment. I left my second appointment after over 3 hours of coloring and removing coloring several times, which left my hair 3 colors of pink and red; a hairpiece that was brown and did not match my newly colored tri-colored red hair; and a cut on my own hair and the hairpiece, that was not how we had initially discussed. I was offered another appointment to fix the color. I am not going back. I asked for a refund on the hairpiece but Lisa refused. The bottom line is to be sure to record everything said in your consultation appointment, and then remember the phrase "buyer beware".
Rochelle, with all due respect this is not really accurate. The system you chose was a strawberry blonde. We did add a few more highlights in the front, which you did like . Admittedly, the issue was with your hair that you had been coloring yourself. The color did, absolutely come out way too red. We did not do any color removal. We did though, modify the color during processing. The system was NOT brown it was strawberry blonde. It was what you actually CHOSE, and purchased. After that, the only thing we needed to do was color YOUR OWN HAIR along with cut and style. You liked the system, you purchased it. You also liked the cut, very much. Yes, the color turned out way too red. The appointment we wanted to make was to correct it. It had nothing to do with the system you purchased, again, before the color ever started. The hair you purchased was a very separate issue. Not being familiar with the previous color you used on your own hair we won't ever really know why what happened, happened. We are sorry and we wanted the opportunity to correct the color. In the hair business color does not always come out the way we want. It doesn't help when we aren't allowed to correct it. That said...the hair you chose and purchased was a separate transaction all together. You saw it...held it...actually put it on and then you purchased it. Three weeks later you came back and we did have the issue with your color. I am sorry and I wish we could have been allowed to correct it. My Very Best, Lisa
