DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE — THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. I debated whether or not to share my experience, but I know it’s the right thing to do. If you’re struggling with hair loss, you’re already dealing with a lot emotionally — and this place only makes it worse. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. The front desk staff were inhospitable and aloof, making me feel like I didn’t belong there. But what really shocked me was the behavior of the so-called “Image Consultant,” Susanne. She wasn’t “brutally honest” — she was flat-out rude. She made snide comments throughout my consultation that left me feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. Without doing any real testing, she looked at a few photos of my scalp and immediately claimed I had androgenic alopecia (AGA). She also confidently told me that “no deficiency would cause hair loss,” which is absolutely false and dangerously misleading. Then came the pitch: a $9,000 plan, which included: • Minoxidil (costs around $200/year at Walmart) • 12 basic in-salon haircuts • 4 Trichoview progress scans • A $185 “EXT scalp massager” (sold online for under $100) • A $3,000 laser diode helmet (you can find similar devices for $500 or less) • Shampoo, conditioner, and oil “customized” for your hair It was immediately obvious this was a ripoff. After I left, I did my own research and confirmed everything they offered is available online for a fraction of the cost, including: • iRestore or Ape Born red light helmets • Gloplex DHT blockers and oils • Nizoral shampoo • Microneedling tools • Minoxidil • Scalp massagers for under $100 But here’s what really matters — I later saw a real medical professional at Dermatologist Arts in Bellevue (highly recommend), who took my concerns seriously. After reviewing my scalp and running proper blood tests, my dermatologist strongly suspects Telogen Effluvium (TE) — a temporary condition very likely caused by my iron and vitamin D deficiencies. So not only was Susanne dismissive and rude, she was wrong — and could’ve cost me thousands of dollars and more emotional stress if I hadn’t sought a second opinion. Please, get your blood work done and see a licensed dermatologist. Don’t let places like HairClub exploit your fears. I’m sharing this to protect others. HairClub is a scam. Be careful.

Well when I first went then there to start up everyone was so nice no problem. Then I had to complain in September because instead of my darker normal hair color I was given a poodle dog brown, it was corrected off and on dying of my hair. Now the partial hair peace has thinned down so much its barely covering my indented side of my head. When the dye wears off it is leading to the poodle color and my own hair on the other side turns to a rusty yellow looking color. It from beautiful fluffy to thinner than thin. Now a staff shortage so setting up appointments Now is very hard. After my time to renew in August I well not do so I'm looking at other clubs. Post
