I brought my soon to be middle schooler in after a Psoriasis diagnosis + referral from his PCP. Mackenzie Armstrong, PA-C is phenomenal! She kept it professional yet laid back to where my son was at ease, even after slight anxiety prior to his appointment. She answered all of my questions directly and assured us that we were in GREAT hands. We have a follow up in a few months and I am extremely grateful for the peace of heart I have after the care my son received and will receive in the future. Thank you, Mackenzie and staff of Center for Dermatology and Plastic Surgery! You all have such positive impact!

Best place. Found my contact dermatologist and found a medication that has taken it away. Love the staff.

Just left my first ever skin check and couldn’t be more pleased with how it went. PA Armstrong made me feel so at ease, she has such a warm and disarming nature about her! Her nurse, and I’m not sure if I’m spelling this right, Sarai, was wonderful as well. I was very nervous about doing this for the first time and I’m so glad I decided to go with Knoxville Center for dermatology and plastic surgery surgery!

I am a current patient of both dr. Fowlers. I am more than pleased with the attention and detail I receive at this office. It was a great experience from the check in counter through out the visit continuing to check out. This office is very proficient. Thanks Google for the recommendation.

No patience for patients. After waiting months for an appointment, I arrived 10 minutes early. Receptionist asked my name. Then she asked to scan my drivers license. I am not using insurance, so I can pre-pay. She said it is "for my chart". There is no health information on my license, so I asked why. She repeated they scan it and put it in my chart. As a security consultant I understood this is an unnecessary risk (for them and me). I asked to opt out. She refused. No sympathy. No empathy. Didn't bother to check or take a moment to consider. I said, "Never mind on my appointment then". All-too-cheerfully, she agreed. The doctors may be great. Maybe the receptionist hasn't had family members lose their life savings to identity theft. Whatever the reason for her dismissiveness, it was clear to me I wouldn't make any progress there. I would love to hear an effort to make this right. UPDATE: I very much appreciate the owner's response. I also should also note that a person's identity can be verified without scanning. Also with regard to medical ID theft: I have a hard time believing dermatologists have a problem with people falsifying their skin conditions that can be verified visually or through biopsy.
