Dr Ross is a master at his craft. I went and saw multiple doctors mostly in the La jolla and beach areas. He was the last person I had a consult with and I almost didn't go thinking I would pick one of the other ones. I'm so glad I did go to his consult and pick him. Not only is his pricing super competitive, his staff super welcoming and professional while down the earth, and he's no pressure sales. It was the last part that sold me. Everybody else kept calling and trying to close the deal and you could tell by his confidence and the fact that there was zero pressure that not only is he good at what he does and super busy but he doesn't feel the need to pressure selll in order to secure clients. From start to finish it was an amazing experience. I actually went in with somewhat low expectations because I wasn't necessarily feeling all that bad in regards to the state of my hair. That said, I left feeling so glad that I actually did it. As the days went on I felt more and more happy about my decision. The recovery was super reasonable and I was out and about the very next day. Within about seven or eight days everything was as if it never happened in regards to recovery. I got a ton of positive comments right out of the gate without saying anything to really anyone other than family. If you're on the fence about whether or whether or not to do it or you're not sure who the pick, take my advice from my experience and go check him out. You won't be disappointed. Lastly, from a financial standpoint I could have went anywhere I wanted and his pricing was beyond the fair when compared to the three other doctors that I saw. He was actually the most competitive in his pricing. So not only do you get a great finished product but you also get a killer experience and a great price.

i intentionally waited over a year to write a review, thinking it would take at least that long to correctly assess the result. im now 16 months post-procedure and the results has been pretty disappointing. less than half the grafts survived. when i went in for a follow-up at one year dr ross agreed saying "this sucks" and "this never happens" and told me to use dandruff shampoo for a couple months. im at 16 months now and have a very thin amount of coverage which isnt any better than it was before. i followed all the post-op procedures to the letter. have left multiple emails and texts with the office and dr ross with no reply. it would seem as soon as they get your money thats the end of "service". my experience has NOT been one of "getting my hair back". this procedure is not as successful as they claim. if i had it to do over, i wouldnt...
This is a real patient of mine. We did 3067 grafts on him, spread evenly throughout his entire top of the head. This was a very large area. I recommended to him to do the 3000 graft fue surgery all to the front half of the top of his head so that it would be of maximum benefit by dense packing and having a nice result on the top. The patient insisted that we cover his entire head because he didn't want it to end up looking "too thick." This is not how we would normally distribute the grafts for his type of hair loss and was not what we discussed during his consultation, but it was the decision he wanted to go with. When he came for his follow up, I offered to do a free 1500 graft touch up surgery, but he did not want to do that. Then I offered to do a free TED-Alma series on him and he did not want that either. He came in with a lot of dandruff, so I recommended he use ketoconazole shampoo to treat that. He decided to just go with the shampoo and wait. He has a flip phone and told me he doesn't text. I searched his number and see no texts on my personal cell phone, which I gave him. I can't find an e-mail from him either. The offer still stands. In the rare event where a patient is disappointed, I do my best to make things right, but he denied my offer and I see no message or call from him requesting us to help him further. To Rob- please call the office or my personal cell phone if you change your mind and would like to take me up on my offer for the free touch up surgery. Thanks, Dr. Ross

I couldn’t possibly recommend Dr. Ross any higher. The process was completely painless and after 8 months I can say that the results were everything I had hoped they’d be. Furthermore, it was over two years between my original consult and the procedure and yet he honored the original estimate. Just a fantastic experience all around.
Thanks Dan. You were awesome! Brandon

I definitely recommend Dr. Ross for anyone who is considering hair restoration. I booked a video consultation on a holiday through the website by mistake and he still made accommodations to see me on a day off. I was worried about coming off as inconsiderate by scheduling on a day off but I was put at ease at the beginning of the call since he was so friendly and nice. This was my first consultation doing something like this but I could tell he was giving me an honest, straightforward opinion when I voiced what my concerns with my hairline were. He recommended some medication adjustments and we decided to look into scheduling a surgery a few months later. The medication adjustment is working great and my hairline hasn't really moved back and might even be slightly better than it was during our consultation. I've also started styling my hair a different way which has alleviated a lot of the insecurities I'd feel when looking in the mirror. I'll be putting off surgery for at least a few more months and I'm praying to the hairline gods that the medication continues to do its thing, but the moment I feel like I want to revisit the idea or surgery, I know I'll be reaching out to Dr. Ross and his fantastic reception team!
Thanks Chris! Appreciate you. Brandon
