As a physician, it’s with a heavy heart that I am writing this review. Did not expect this low of quality of care. And now that I just had my second hair transplant elsewhere, I realize just how sad and unfortunate my experience at Meshkin Medical was. A few highlights: FUT procedure with 2500 grafts. The pre and post op instructions/communication was quite lacking/poor. The FUT scar, to my surprise, was massive when I unwrapped my dressing. It extended from one side of my temple to the other. For the procedure itself, I was expected to bring my own pain med prescription from the pharmacy (not communicated at pre op), so I did not. I didn’t get any pain meds, not even Tylenol. I did get IV Valium (sedative to sleep) and each time I woke up (many) to voice that I was in terrible pain, Dr. Meshkin had an unfortunate comment, such as, “this is surgery, there is no cream for hair loss” or “you were just snoring”. I had no lunch break or water but was offered a stale granola bar once. It was very painful and invalidating. At every follow up I was told that “everything looks great, give it more time”. Two years later, at an outside exam, I was shown that there were many poorly implanted follicles and empty incision scars without follicles. Some follicles on the crown did survive and my hair overall did look about 10% better, minus the massive scar. I hope no one else goes through this. I would recommend avoiding this practice.

Absolutely trash, terrible doctor. He is a scam artist. Will purprosely try to add on extra services that you never ask for and add it on your bill. My friend went to him and his hairloss got even worse than before and now hes just left with bunch of scars on his head. DO NOT GO TO HIM. Purely is only after your money. He discourages the right method (which is going to a good doctor in turkey). Stay away from this business. Oh not to mention he charged $10000 for only 2000 graphs

I made the mistake of getting a hair transplant at Meshkin. I should have paid more attention to the hidden reviews and the use of old pictures. He left me with an atrocious scar that has ruined my scalp for life. I don’t know how he still has a license to practice. Picture taken in 2024
