I could not be any happier with my experience with Dr. Raffi Barsoumian, Michelle, and the technicians at Precision Hair Restoration. Their team was constantly in contact with me before, during, and after the procedure and made sure at all points that I was comfortable. This includes asking for my lunch and drinks of choice prior to the procedure, running movies during the procedure, and keeping me updating throughout the process in regards to what steps were taking place. After the procedure was completed, Dr. Barsoumian personally walked me back to my hotel, gave me instructions on what I should be doing over the next 1-3 days, and told me to contact him directly via cell phone in regards to further updates. His post-procedure support was always very responsive and did not hesitate to pick up the phone to call me on his birthday. Would I recommend Precision Hair Restoration for your next hair procedure? Absolutely! Other places might have a trained technician working on you, but my mind was put at ease (and the deciding factor was) knowing that Dr. Barsoumian would personally be involved in every bit of the procedure.

I got hair transplant surgery in October 2024 for my 30th birthday. After dealing with traction alopecia for about 2 years and trying several non-invasive, temporary treatments, I decided to try a permanent treatment option. Dr. Raffi was the first of a few surgeons I went to for a consultation. I was skeptical at first because the website didn’t show black women clients. He assured me that I was in good hands. Dr. Raffi promised Claudia, a surgical tech and a black woman skilled in textured hair, would assist him for my surgery, which she did. I’m so glad I trusted him and went through with the surgery. After 3 months post-op, I was able to see promising results. It looks so natural. Even my family and friends are amazed by how great it looks. From the beginning, Dr. Raffi and Michele at Precision Hair Restoration made my experience incredible. I highly recommend them for hair transplant surgery. I had some scar tissue on my upper lip from an accident in 2021, which didn’t allow for a small amount of my mustache hair to grow anymore. After researching several different hair restoration professionals, I called Precision Hair Restoration. Michele answered, was very nice, and setup a free consultation for me. During the consultation with Dr. Raffi Barsoumian, he was very encouraged that this would work, took several pictures of my scar tissue, and reviewed them on several different dates to show me his plan. I was nervous of the level of pain that I’d experience; however, I can honestly tell you that there was no pain. I didn’t even take any Tylenol after the procedure, which lasted about 4 hours, where hair was removed from the back of my head and placed in my upper lip. Swelling went down 100% after 8 days and I had a full mustache again. My family was amazed. After about 6 weeks the implanted hair fell out. This is part of the process and Dr. Raffi said it’ll take around 12-15 months for the hairs to fully regrow. Dr. Raffi provided me his personal cell phone # and followed up with me each day following the procedure and was very responsive in returning any questions I asked of him. This has improved my mental well-being so much. Dr. Raffi, Michele, and the Dr.’s Technician were so great to work with, and I highly recommend them.

I had a robotic hair transplant at Precision Hair Restoration in Philadelphia. Doctor Barsoumian, his team and technicians were phenomenal. It was just a great experience. The day went by quickly. During the surgery and after the surgery, I had no swelling. I was able to go back to work immediately the day after. Friends are asking me on a scale of 1-10 what the pain was and it truly was zero.
