I have received several sew-in’s from Ms. Edwards at Salon Wygs. Her service is amazing and professionally performed and as a result, most didn’t know I was wearing a sew-in. I would definitely recommend this service. I also received an awesome wig that was made by Ms. Edwards as well and I wear it as a protective style during the interim. The shop is in a great location and the service is exceptional!

My closure wig was getting old and kinky, time for new, fresh curls. I was surprised that i had such a hard time looking for one. I am from another state and i had no idea that looking and finding a clousure curly wig would be a challenge. I called around and i was easily dismissed, until i called Salon Wygs! She was personal, attentive to my need, gave me the time to explain my dilemma, and didn't give up on me in what i was looking for, and hoping to find. She was amazing in communicating via texts, and phone calls, including sending me specific link pages. Very professional and treated me with kindness and priority. I received my closure wig and looking forward in wearing it! I have an autoimmune disorder that kills my hair follicles, leaving me with bold spots. Thank you Solon Wygs! Dolores from NY!

Ok so i wanted to have the hair in for a bit before i wrote a review. It’s long and detailed, but includes information about my install, my takedown, and my experience when Miss Edwards. To start, I used the Maevynn website and ordered hair through them. Loved the experience, but that’s a separate review. Maevynn is how I found Miss Ki. I havent had a sewin in several years and told her I was extremely nervous. My hair is currently in a fragile state due to medical issues, and ive been natural for about 6 years as well. I was worried about hair damage from tension. Miss Edwards was able to ease my mind and was knowledgeable in her work so that it didnt damage my hair. Miss Edwards was late for the appointment due to 280 traffic, but I was also late due to the same reason (it was particularly bad that morning). Even though I wasn’t upset or anything about it, she still gave me a complimentary service to apologize for the delay. And even with the delay, she had me out of her chair FAST. I expected a minimum 4 hour sew-in and was prepared to be there the full day. I believe my appointment was at 8:30-ish am, but we started at 9 and I was literally walking out of the door by 11:19am. I was in shock. It was my only day off for two weeks and she had me out in enough time that I could actually go home and rest and enjoy my alone time for the day. And yall…this INCLUDED knot bleaching, hair washing and hair deep conditioning, AND she started on another client’s wig as well. And still had me out in a flash. As I also mentioned, I used a third party source to book with Salon Wygs. I was extremely nervous and skeptical about using the program, but it was all easy breezy. Miss Ki even let me scan my code ahead of time so that if there was any issue, I could have it fixed before she finished my hair (at my request. She had trust in Maevynn!) The salon was extremely clean. She has made covid-safe adjustments to better suit client hygiene. She held good conversation and even helped me consider some new hairstyles for the next time I come through (which I WILL be doing) because I stay getting the same one style. And since it had been a while, she also gave me aftercare instructions to make sure the install stayed fresh. Now, I only kept the install in for a little over a week because of the Alabama heat. I also have an EXTREMELY sensitive scalp, so I personally knew I was only going to keep the install in until just after my vacation this past weekend. But if i wanted to keep the install in for longer…ohhh boy could I have! My install was so secure I needed three people’s help to get it out lol! I had washed my hair with the install in about 3 times along with blow dried and styled it each time, and when it was time for takedown, the thread was still as secure and tight on day 9 as it was 10 min after it was installed. I had no worries that a weft was going to come loose. Overall, it was a fantastic experience for me. I’m ready to go back for round two with hopefully a new style.
