Joe is truly a pioneer in the space of scalp micropigmentation. Joe received one of the first smp procedures and had to have it laser removed because it had that overtly dark large impression look. This experience galvanized him to develop a treatment that is truly undetectable. Joe is passionate because he knows what it feels like to lose your hair and how devastating that can be. This passion shows through in the work and relationship that they coalesce with their clients at Scalp Logic. I spent a solid year researching the procedure as well as different practitioners. Each time I made contact with someone, I ended up putting my search on hold. I either felt that they were only interested in the money or that their skill set left me feeling uncertain that they could provide what I was looking for. I found Nichole and Joe on youtube and I immediately knew that I had found the right providers for me. They even coined the phrase, “subtle smp” which was the exact type of result that I was wanting. I was terrified of getting a treatment that left me with an unnatural look that would cause people to stare or ask questions. Joe and Nichole took the time to find out exactly what my goals were and worked with me closely to develop this reality. In an industry that I found to be rife with people looking for a quick buck, it was so refreshing to see Nichole and Joe’s genuineness regarding my journey and their desire to see me happy about my results. As someone who was beyond cautious starting this journey, I can wholeheartedly say that I am so happy I did it but even more than that, I am so grateful that I found Scalp Logic. So because there is a lot of unawareness about SMP, it was on a wing that I found Joe and Nicole at Scalp Logic. Little did I know that it was gonna be the best decision of my life. They were so professional, and so amazing through the entire process. I could not be happier I feel confident I feel good about myself I could not recommend them enough. They are also reasonably priced and VERY good at what they do!! Will only return to them if i ever need touch up 7-10 years from now!!

Let’s talk about Scalp Logic… They seem on the surface to be very knowledgeable due to their social media presence and confident analysis on the SMP market BUT let me warn you, they are not what they seem. I had two treatments from Joe back in late 2019 (October/November) about 6 weeks apart. Let me give you some background first… I had gotten a previous SMP treatment and came to Scalp Logic to repair the botch job I received prior. Joe said he could definitely fix my treatment and I was confident he could do so after doing my research. Joe gave me some saline infusion to remove some blowouts from my previous botched treatment and that seemed to be effective in doing so. Let’s talk about the actual two treatments I had with Scalp Logic… after each of my treatments the results looked great! That’s pretty much where the positivity ends about Scalp Logic and their work. They use a clever marketing term “Subtle SMP” to stand out from their competitors. Let me tell you, this is nothing more than a ploy to get clients to pay for touch ups and increase profitability for them. My results faded about 6-7 months later after my last treatment, Joe used a single needle for my treatment and 90% of my impressions he made all but vanished 6 months later. Supposedly Joe is using 3 needles currently but I still have heard many people recently complaining on Reddit about the same issue (impressions vanishing or being too light) Scalp logic will reply with a bunch of excuses like “he had a previous botched treatment prior to seeing us” or “he wanted a very subtle treatment” or “you needed more treatments to achieve a better result” or “his last treatment was 3.5 years ago” THE REALITY IS THEIR TREATMENT LASTED 5-7 MONTHS! There is simply no excuse for that. You made impressions and they disappeared… that’s on you Joe! All of those excuses they used are absolute nonsense. You shouldn’t need 5 treatments to achieve the results you desire. Scalp Logic wants to pad their profitability period… there is no other reason for their clever marketing surrounding subtle SMP. Why is Joe using 3 needles now instead of 1? Why do they feel the need to bash other SMP artists and promote themselves as some sort of industry leader? Do a little digging on Reddit and you will find out the truth about Scalp Logic… they simply don’t provide a quality SMP treatment! You will not be happy with your results long term, short term may seem good but those results and impressions will vanish shortly thereafter. Once you call them out or ask for a resolution they will immediately get defensive and fire off excuses left and right blaming you. Scalp Logic even blamed a former clients alcoholism/drug use for the poor results he received from them. All the information you require is on Reddit, do some due diligence. If you want a quality, long lasting SMP treatment look elsewhere than Scalp Logic… there are plenty of other options in the USA that do way better work than Joe and Nichole. BEWARE!

Scalp logic did my scalp micro pigmentation. I chose them because I needed the results to be realistic. The last thing I wanted was to have to worry about having to correct a procedure I wasn’t satisfied with. I flew in from out of state, and every appointment was on schedule. I never had to worry about anything. No one has ever asked me a single question about my hair. My dermatologist has mentioned how he has to look super close to tell where the hair is verse the pigment.
We can never stories enough about guys having people (especially a dermatologist) scrutinizing the healed results up close!! We hope life is treating you well :)
