I have just completed my 1 year review with Dr Vara, so I thought now would be a good time to write a review of my experience, which has been excellent throughout. From the initial contact with Alviera, to the consultations with Dr Vara, I was always made to feel comfortable and never pressured. On the surgery day itself, everyone was professional, caring and friendly, and everything ran like clockwork. I was really impressed. The results itself are fantastic, especially having compared the before and after photos side-by-side. It’s honestly been such a positive change in my life, that my only regret is not doing this sooner! So if you’re reading this and wondering whether you should take the plunge or not, I would say go for it! You won’t regret it.

At the 7 day post-op mark, I would recommend The Treatment Rooms for FUE without hesitation. Dr Fernando is clearly an expert at the top of his game. This is a Rolls Royce service. The team's confidence and effortless mastery throughout the approx 10 hr procedure gave such a sense of security that I ended up sleeping through most of it. I have experienced no discomfort or pain at any stage, either during the procedure or throughout the past week, and on day 7 I was back in the office, scab free. I had the full shave and the hairs have all grown back a few milimetres already. Will try to update this in a few months.

This review’s been long overdue, but I thought it made more sense to do it after seeing the full results from the surgery (now more than 18 months since I’ve done it). I’ll get into more detail below, but long story short – I couldn’t recommend this clinic more, especially dr. Vara. Before I decided to go with Treatment Rooms, I did a very thorough research, including options in other countries like Turkey, Greece, Spain, Portugal, etc. One thing I cared the most about was making sure I get a chance to speak with the surgeon who will perform the surgery before I commit to a specific clinic and that I trust them with doing the procedure. After having done a decent number of initial consultations with various clinics, I came across dr. Vara through recommendation from a hair specialist. I knew I’ll go with dr. Vara immediately after the initial consultations. He is incredibly professional, knowledgeable and takes great care in understanding your needs and what outcome you’re looking for. He was open to my suggestions and explained absolutely everything about the process and why certain things are done the way they’re done. He is also very realistic and does not overpromise. Altogether, very genuine and transparent doctor. Everything was explained to me before the surgery and on the day of the surgery everyone, from the receptionist, technicians, nurses and the dr. Vara, made sure I had a pleasant experience. Dr. Vara performed the crucial parts of the surgery and dr. Fernando did part of it as well (also very pleasant and I felt I was in good hands). Only certain parts were performed by one of the technicians but the crucial parts were done by dr. Vara. Everything went well and I was pleased I had done my hair transplant with them. There is a delicate process after the surgery but everything was explained to me down to the last detail and they answered all of my questions after the surgery. As for the results, it takes some patience but once you start seeing it change for the better, it's worth it. I am incredibly happy I did the procedure and glad I went with Treatment Rooms. I could keep writing good things about this clinic and dr. Vara but to keep it short – I really couldn’t recommend then more. If I could give one piece of advice for anyone struggling with hair loss and thinking about starting this journey – do your research, have initial consultations and go with the clinic where the doctor will perform the crucial parts of the surgery and you feel comfortable with them/you trust them. Treatment Rooms and dr. Vara did exactly that for me and I'm confident I'm not an exception.

I’d been considering a hair transplant for a few years. I live in the US (originally from the UK) and after doing my research, I found the UK had stronger, more reputable options. Turkey wasn’t a route I wanted to explore. About a year ago, I had an online consultation with one of the well-known clinics on Harley Street. While the clinic had a strong brand, I couldn’t find much information about the specific surgeon who would be performing the procedure. Most of the communication was with a sales advisor, and although the surgeon briefly joined the call for a few minutes, they were happy to go ahead without seeing me in person. It felt too impersonal, so I held off. Fast forward to this year - I discovered The Treatment Rooms and booked an online consultation with Dr Vara. From the first conversation, it was clear this was different. Dr Vara spent real time going through everything, and importantly, he’d be the one doing the surgery himself. He also insisted on seeing me in person before confirming anything, which made a big difference. During our in-person consultation, we reviewed the hairline and talked through realistic outcomes. Dr Vara was incredibly calm, clear, and honest. He he explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions without any pressure. His transparency and professionalism made me feel completely confident moving forward. On surgery day, I was the only patient in the clinic a true boutique experience. The environment is calm, state-of-the-art, and everything is led by Dr Vara. Even the local anaesthetic, which I’d read about being the painful bit, was surprisingly pain-free. The entire process, including extraction and implantation, was so comfortable my fitness tracker logged it as a nap! Recovery has been smooth with zero pain, no itching, and the scabs were completely gone by day 7. Their aftercare pack walks you through everything day by day, and the support has been excellent. I’m really excited to see the results develop over the coming months/year. But even now, I can say this was the right choice—expert care, personal attention, and a clinic that does things properly. Highly recommend.
