About
Dr. Nilofer Farjo trained at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and specialized in hair & scalp surgery in Toronto, Canada in 1992. With her husband, Dr Bessam Farjo, she started practizing in Manchester, England and soon added another surgical facility on London's Harley Street. They now have one of the busiest practices in the UK with the majority of patients referred by word of mouth or by other professionals. Nilofer Farjo has a keen interest in scientific research into all aspects of hair including genetics and tissue engineering. Currently the Farjo Hair Institute is involved in research projects with the University of London, University of Bradford, University of Manchester, Imperial College London, King's College London, Durham University, Unilever Plc and HairClone Ltd. She regularly presents papers at scientific meetings and surgery workshops around the world.
