Dr. Shapiro has lectured, directed workshops, and perform live surgical demonstrations at International and National Conferences over the past five years. Physicians from around the world visit Dr Shapiro’s Clinic, not only to learn his technique, but also as patients to have the procedure performed on themselves. Dr. Shapiro is the founder and director of The Shapiro Medical Group in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He heads a select group of hair transplant surgeons, each of whom are recognized as experts in their own right. His clinic specializes in Follicular Unit Tranplantaion and Hairline design. He has published numerous articles on these subjects. Known for his hands on technical ability, Dr Shapiro is one of a select group of world-renowned physicians regularly honored with invitations to demonstrate his technique at major conferences around the world. Dr. Shapiro is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Hair Transplant Surgery.
