Dr. Shelly Friedman attended graduate school at Arizona State University and received his Medical Degree from Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his Residency in Dermatology at Michigan State University/Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, he participated in over 3,000 hair transplant surgeries. Dr. Friedman is a Past President of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery and Past President of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is Medical Director of the American Hair Loss Council and a member of the Medical Advisory Board for The World Hair Society. Dr. Friedman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. In addition to the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, he is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Arizona Osteopathic Medical Association and the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. Furthermore, he is a member of the Inter-American Society of Cosmetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the International Society for Aesthetic Surgery, the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American Academy of Phlebology and the Sigma Phi National Honorary Fraternity in Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Friedman performs hair transplantation in Scottsdale, Arizona.
