In private practice since 1998, Dr. Juan Maldonado received his medical degree from the Colombian National University (1987-93), after which he completed his plastic surgery residency at the Antioquia University (1994-98).Dr. Maldonado practice in Medellín City. Recognized for his expertise in hair restoration through the combined use of a variety of surgical procedures and medical treatments. Currently he performs the three available surgical techniques: FUT, Manual FUE and Robotic FUE. He has been an invited speaker at numerous meetings, both nationally and internationally.
