Dr. Valvis Plastic Surgeon works in hair transplantation 28 years (from 1993) and he is performing thousand of hair transplants with the FUT via STRIP technique . The last 10 years he is performing also the FUE technique with manual or motorised method. The last 7 years he is performing also Mini Strip Technique. This technique is created by the poor results in density of FUE technique, and is something intermediate between FUT (Strip) and  FUE technique. Small incisions (1 to 3) are made at various levels in the donor area that create small linear scars at different levels and not a continuous longitudinal scar. Stapling is always done with the Trichophytjc Technique. He has taken part in conferences in Greece and abroad, presenting his research as a plastic surgeon specializing in hair transplantation, such as: “A major stage in hair microtransplantation in extensive thinning with a rich donor site”. He is Head of Plastic Surgery at Metropolitan Hospital Athens and partner Plastic Surgeon at YGEIA Hospital Athens. He also collaborate on hair transplantation with LASER TOUCHE Medical Center, Kapositas Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon, REA Obstetric and Gynecology Hospital and NIUMEE CONCEPT ESTHETIQUE CLINIC of Malta the Aesthetic Department of SAINT JAMES HOSPITAL . From 2019 he also collaborate on hair transplantation with GOLD ANGELS AESTHETIC CLINIC of London (UK)

He completed his studies at the School of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Rome-Italy. Received the specialty of plastic surgery in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Clinic of Metaxas Anticancer Hospital – Greece.
