My wonderful mother has struggled with hormone-related alopecia at the top of her head for over 15 years. She’s tried shortening her hair, entire styling changes, and so many advertised hair regrowth products; she tried cheap then very expensive wigs (from online stores as well as from local companies in person) that just felt heavy and cheap. She never felt like herself and it was heartbreaking to see her self-esteem plummet with every failed attempt. She decided to give Special Place a try. Today, we went for a consultation and the staff, Anna in particular, were patient, kind, and took the time to hear her concerns. After trying a couple of options, she found something that fit for her, and the change in her mood was instant. It made me so happy to see that change in her. This place is amazing! Anna helped my friend find the perfect wig. They are patient and so kind and took care of us well! I emailed the day before well after business hours ended but Jamela was very prompt and set me up for an appointment the next afternoon with Jenny. She also introduced me to a great wig glue and showed me on herself it's application! Jenny is an absolute DOLL! She was very informative about my postpartum alopecia and had lots of life stories to share that I could relate to. She offered tips and instruction on how to care for both my human hair wig and my synthetic ones and didn't let me leave the store without everything I needed for success! I have never felt so confident and empowered since purchasing my "Jenny" wig!

Every person there was very friendly and helpful. Jessica helped me and was so patient and understanding of my situation facing hair loss because of upcoming chemo treatments.
