Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

FUE is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique where individual follicular units (1-4 hairs) are extracted directly from the donor area using micro punches (0.7-1.0mm). The follicles are then implanted into recipient sites in balding areas. This method leaves tiny, barely visible scars and allows for faster healing compared to strip harvesting methods.
Per Procedure$11,100
Per Graft$5.5
Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)

Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT)

FUT involves removing a strip of hair-bearing scalp from the donor area (usually the back of the head), which is then dissected under microscopes into individual follicular units. These units are transplanted into the recipient area. This method typically yields more grafts in a single session but leaves a linear scar.
Per Procedure$8,900
Per Graft$4.4
Hair Loss Prevention Programs

Hair Loss Prevention Programs

Customized programs combining medical treatments, supplements, lifestyle modifications, and regular monitoring for patients in early stages of hair loss. Focus on prevention rather than restoration.

Did a hair transplant at Akacia abit over a year ago. Super happy with the result. Did max amount of grafts mainly in the front hair line. Within 2 months I had a pretty decent buzz cut look going with slight red skin in the implant area. And by 3 months was a normal buzz cut going. The service was amazing, Simon is really amazing and friendly and was helping along the way and days leading up to it So appreciated all his help during the process. They are super professionals and well organized. They fly in experts to perform the surgery and are great. I honestly wish I had done this sooner. The only painful moment was when getting the local anesthetic shots. But the team where so supportive and considerate to try to distract one from the pain and keep calm. Otherwise its basically like going to the dentist. If your reading the reviews I would suggest to just go for it! Thanks again Simon and the whole team! Really super service and quality.

Translated: I cannot recommend Akacia Medical to anyone who wants professional and respectful treatment. On the contrary, you should definitely not go here if you want to be scolded, cheated or feel unsafe throughout the entire process. As soon as you step through the door, you are met with a brusque tone and immediate demands to wash your hands and put on slippers — without any greeting or explanation. It feels like you are being treated like a problem rather than a patient. Inside the clinic, you are shown a film that is supposed to show how amazingly good the surgery is, but it mostly feels like a way to trick you into believing that everything is perfect. Then you find out the price, and this is where the problems begin: they inform you of a discount on the transplant, but when it is time to pay, it turns out that the price has been increased by almost 8000 kronor. When you protest, you are forced to watch a new film where they show you that you have already agreed to the new price — the film is recorded without asking for permission. This feels both unethical and manipulative. On the day of the surgery, you meet Turkish doctors who quickly draw and measure to decide where the hair follicles will be placed. What surprised me was that I had to sit in their bathroom, where they shaved off all the hair on my head without warning or explanation. During the procedure itself, they were loud and played Turkish music, while singing loudly. The fact that they did not take into account that I wanted to say no or that they did not provide any kind of reassurance or explanation makes the whole experience feel very frivolous. The food was really not great — dry chicken salad that tasted nothing. Another thing that was unpleasant was that the toilet was only for the staff, so I was not allowed to use it throughout the day, even though I needed to. The shaving of my head happened suddenly and without warning, I would have appreciated it if they had said -now we are going to shave your head, I was never given that information. When I did need to use the toilet, I had to go downstairs, dizzy and wobbly, and then back up again, just as wobbly. After the operation, apparently, you will have white blood cells injected into your head — something they said the extra money of almost 8,000 kronor went for. But already at the entrance to the clinic, the staff asked several times if I had paid, which gave the impression that my payment was the only thing they cared about. There were almost constant questions about payment from the reception, salespeople, the manager and the nurse. It has now been almost a year since my transplant, and I am relatively happy with the result. But the whole experience was more of a nightmare than a professional treatment. I strongly recommend that you do not choose Akacia Medical. There are other clinics, even in Turkey, that offer the same procedure for a fraction of the price and with much better customer service and respect for the patient.

I talked to Simon a few times before my procedure and he felt really professional and I was very comfortable talking to him. I could call the clinic at anytime and they were always helpful. Great result and I would really recommend Akacia Medical in the future.
