Today was my second time at Angel Hair Wigs. The first time was a few weeks ago. Gina helped cut and style my first wig I had purchased on line. She made the experience very easy and pleasant, and I was very happy. Today, I went in search of a possible second wig. And although I did not leave with a new wig, Barbara was very nice, and she helped make my first wig even better. I will definitely be going back in the future, not only to purchase new wigs, but to have them cut and styled. They were both great!

As always, I was treated extremely well. I am kind of a high maintenance customer, but Gina and her staff are always very patient with me. I know exactly what I want. Gina and staff truly listen to my concerns and give the best advice. Angel Hair Wig Gallery keeps a busy schedule, but always make sure they give their customers the time they need to make the right decision. They understand that their job is important, because they're selling something that is going to be on someone's head and that they're completely satisfied before they leave the mirror. I wanted Gina to cut straight bangs in a new wig that had curtain bangs. She suggested keeping it as curtains because of the shape of my face, but I insisted. She decided to get a topper with bangs in the same color and placed it on top of my wig that I was wearing. It was the straight bangs that I wanted her to cut, but after I saw that it ruined the look and did not fit my face, I decided to take her advice, and I am so glad I did. She went out of her way, not only to show me my options, but I could have made a terrible mistake and would definitely have buyer's remorse. By the way, that's my favorite wig. I watch her with other customers and she's always making sure everyone gets the time they need to make the best decision. Angel Hair Wig Gallery is the only wig and topper gallery that I frequent in the Triangle area. I've seen her help many satisfied customers giving each and every one personal and caring service. She will go out of her for her customers and I have never seen a customer leave with something they did not want. Everyone leaves smiling, knowing they are beautiful because that's the way Gina makes people feel. AHWG works with many men, women and children who suffer with cancer and other illnesses that cause hair loss. I truly believe this is her vocation in life because it takes a special person with a huge heart and understanding to give them the personal and private attention specific to each individual's needs. I have witnessed several touching and Sweet moments that I will never forget at AHWG She has a large and beautiful inventory of wigs and toppers, I've been buying from Gina for many years and I'm still wearing some of my wigs I bought years ago. She doesn't just sell wigs, she also cleans and will reshape them so they look brand new. I just want to add that buying a new wig is a difficult experience, but it's better than champagne and chocolate at your favorite restaurant as you feel rejuvenated, completely loved and cared for. Thank you so much, Gina and staff. You have always made me feel so welcomed and loved.

I’ve been here for my first time ever Topper experience. Saved up for a long time( single mom of 3 daughters) to help my insecurities over my thinning hair. There is a huge selection on wigs but a limitation on toppers. Unless to any other places you aren’t able to return or exchange a piece, so I wouldn’t recommend going there especially as a newbie. I decided for a long very full hair topper I wanted it to get thinned out and cut as my sister usually does with her wigs. She likes to take them to a professional hair stylist for bangs and such. However I was told it can be done in store. I was supposed to pick up my topper at 2 pm but still had to wait another hour. I was in a rush because I had to work a trip ( flight attendant) out of Atlanta to Frankfurt the next day and had to pack, get my uniforms ready and all the good stuff. When the topper was tried on sitting down she pulled it back showed me how to tie it together and it looked ok sitting down.During that time I also found out that she is a retired nurse and not a professional hair stylist..However I had no time to spend but get ready for my trip. In the morning when I wanted to wear the topper for the first time going to work standing in front of the mirror I realized that one side of the topper is much shorter then the other. I’ve thought maybe I need to move the parting but it was still very uneven in length and the layers not professionally cut. I’ve tried to contact them over the phone and e mail to exchange the piece but was completely ignored.I spend over 1100$+ for it, which is a lot of money for me. I took it to a hairstylist that is specialized in cutting wigs and toppers and it’s nicely cut now but of course much shorter than I wanted it to be and of course more money spend. She adjusted my own hair with the length of the topper too..A shorter topper would have been cheaper as well. Now that the piece is shorter it looks even more full and it just doesn’t feel like me and I will never wear it. They have been all very nice before selling in the store but unfortunately with a very disappointing outcome and huge waste of hard earned money ending up with nothing I’m going to wear. I never purchased something I can’t return or exchange.Something I didn’t know about/ wasn’t made aware off.So there’s many other places that offer a return within 3 business days or even longer to give you the time to get used to the new feel and time to decide if that’s really you. It’s a lot of money after all and a very big decision to make. It’s also not ok to offer a haircut not being a certified hairstylist , instead I should have been advised of the option that the piece could just be thinned out and cut like regular hair by a hair salon.
