Words cannot express how grateful I am for Kurt and his father Anton for their expertise and presence in Kirkland. I am a thirty-something chemotherapy patient in Seattle and my hair was my favorite thing about myself and a massive part of my identity. The idea of losing my hair was incredibly traumatic for me, but Kurt made the process so much more beautiful for me. My cancer center gave me many different resource packets (nutrition, wigs, integrative medicine, social work, support groups, etc.) and the only one I read every word of is the wig resource packet. This is how I found Anton’s: my eyes lit up when I saw the words “specialized in making human hair wigs made from your own hair” and “experience with cancer patients”. I am in awe of the work that he does… and how quickly he does it! From my first phone conversation with Kurt, he made me feel at ease and his empathy was so appreciated. I had an hourlong consultation with him to chat about the process - he is willing to give so much time and love to his clients, it really is incredible. I went in to get my hair cut with Kurt for my wig eleven days after my first chemo infusion, luckily before I started losing any hair. The entire process was incredibly fascinating and again, Kurt made me feel so comfortable the whole time and I loved hearing about how his dad Anton acquired the incredible skill of making custom wigs out of the client’s own hair. Kurt and Anton’s expertise is such a unique speciality and it truly is an art and a gift! Kurt has such a calming energy and I would recommend this wonderful business to anyone who loves their hair and wants a very special way of keeping it. It is such a comfort to me knowing that I still “have” my hair: immortalized forever! Kurt’s pricing is extremely fair - my wig was worth every single penny. The Seattle region is blessed to have Anton’s, as there are not many wig makers in the U.S. with this skill. I truly would have traveled across the country for this service, but luckily I did not have to. My wig is so beautiful. Thank you for everything, Kurt - I am so grateful I found you!

Anton’s is an incredible place. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Kurt does great work and he’s super compassionate and enjoyable to talk to. Very calming in the middle of what might be a traumatizing experience. I was so happy with my wig and I’m now returning for another hairpiece and I’m so grateful.

Anton is The Man to go to if you are going to get chemo. If you go in before chemo he takes your hair and makes you a perfect wig out of your own hair. He is the only person to my knowledge who does this. I have had several friends he has helped and he is kind, compassionate and extremely gifted.
