Capiclinic Mexico City - Forehead Lowering: My Experience I recently had a forehead lowering hair transplant at Capiclinic Mexico City. The procedure was performed professionally, and the grafts appear to have implanted successfully by Dr Brenda Guerrero Valdez and staff. Full results will be seen over the next 6–12 months. However, there are important points future patients should be aware of. I scheduled surgery to lower my forehead. Without prior discussion or consent, they shaved approximately 2 to 3 inches above my hairline. I was told 1 cm at the time of surgery not prior. This was not a translation issue, as I am fully bilingual and biliterate. Had this been disclosed, I would have chosen a different clinic. The clinic also did not provide a pre-op checklist for post-surgery care. I had to arrange syringe, injection location, special shampoos, spray bottles, and vitamins on my own during recovery, which added unnecessary stress. The clinic is located inside the World Trade Center lobby, in three offices shared with other spa businesses, to the left of Starbucks, with no exterior sign. First-time patients may have trouble finding it. Post-surgery privacy is limited, as patients exit directly into the public lobby while still bandaged, bleeding, shaved and partially bald. The medical staff was courteous, and the procedure itself was done skillfully. The pricing was excellent and competitive compared to other options. However, clearer communication, full disclosure, and better patient preparation would greatly improve the overall experience when traveling internationally. Capiclinic scheduled my pre-operative blood work and charged me $100 USD for it, but completely failed to provide me with the actual appointment time in advance. They only attempted to confirm late Friday evening, even though the bloodwork was scheduled for early Monday morning. Unfortunately, I was already flying to Mexico City at that time, leaving me unable to properly prepare. In addition, no one informed me whether fasting was required or if I was allowed to eat beforehand — information that should be standard for any medical testing. When I brought these concerns to their attention, Daniel from the corporate office simply stated that the bloodwork was my responsibility — even though Capiclinic scheduled it and took payment directly. This dismissive response and lack of communication were highly unprofessional. For a clinic that handles medical procedures for international patients, better coordination and accountability should be a basic standard In conclusion, Dr Brenda Guerreo Valdez is a skilled surgeon and the implant looks like it is a success at this time. I give her surgeon skilled work 10 stars. I’m very happy that I didn’t choose a clinic in Turkey as the language barrier even with translators would have been extremely stressful. Dr Brenda Guerreo Valdez was available to answer my questions during & after recovery. Long haul flights are a dangerous option and may cause blood clots leading to a stroke or thrombosis.Therefore, I chose a clinic in Mexico City.

I had a great experience getting a hair transplant at CapilClinic in Mexico City. I had around 3,000 grafts, and everything went incredibly smoothly from start to finish. Dr. Brenda Guerrero Valdez was amazing. She was professional, kind, and clearly knew what she was doing. She explained the whole process clearly and helped set the right expectations. I felt like I was in very good hands the entire time. The nurses and support staff were also excellent - super friendly, organized, and really made me feel comfortable throughout the day. Communication before and after the procedure was solid, and they’ve continued to check in to make sure everything’s going well. The procedure itself was well run and surprisingly comfortable. Pain management was on point, and the whole team worked together like clockwork. I'm still in the early healing phase, but things are going exactly as they said they would. If you’re thinking about getting this done, I’d definitely recommend CapilClinic and especially Dr. Guerrero Valdez. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
