In 2020 I really needed to have my breathing addressed. I’d been suffering from a stuffy nose for most of my life and had very little air flow from both nostrils. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Patt because my ENT referred me to him. After him telling me that my turbinates were swollen and that I had a deviated septum, I decided to book my Septoplasty and Rhinoplasty procedure in order to get both fixed at one time. However, my ultimate goal was to be able to breathe. After this procedure was completed, I was sent home. The very next day and for months afterwards my entire face was black and blue. Under my eyes were extremely swollen and this recovery w extremely painful. This was during Covid so I really couldn’t go in for every little thing. But, no one from Dr. Patts office really checked on me. 6 months later I still couldn’t breathe too well from my left nostril but on my right side everything seemed okay. I had Dr. Patt check it out and said everything looked fine. I didn’t think he would be honest since he was the one who performed the procedure but I wanted to give him the benefit of doubt. Fast forward to today… 3 years later and I STILL cannot breathe! I again went back to Dr. Patt in November and he told me that I had some scar tissue, chronic rhinitis and swollen turbinate and that he would do a ReinAir procedure. I had this done and it was super painful. It burnt the inside of my nose and gave me a pain that I still have today on my right side. Ultimately, it didn’t help at all. Two weeks ago I visited a top Sinus/Breathing Surgeon in Houston and after performing a few scans and an endoscopy he came to the conclusion that my rhinoplasty was improperly done. The tip of my nose is not symmetrical and this is why I cannot breath on my left side. I have let Dr. Patt know these findings and he has been unresponsive. I do not recommend him for any of these procedures. Don’t waste you time and money with Dr. Patt. Go see Dr. Sanaz with MHS instead!! *UPDATE March 2025 Fast forwarding onto today…after SEVERAL consults and scans with other ENT’s and plastic surgeons in the Houston and surrounding areas, it has been found that BOTH of my valves are collapsed, I have excesses sinus fluid build up on my right side that is just festering there causing sinus infections, my septum is still a little deviated to the right, the bones in both turbinates were not removed, nor were the turbinates removed in their entirety, so both turbinates have grown back and are quite larger. The tip of my nose should have been lifted higher to ensure better breathing and Dr. Patt should have used cartilage to help the stability of my nose seeing that I am a thin skinned patient. All this has been addressed by several septoplasty/rhinoplasty surgeons. Because of his malpractice I am now having to have this fixed for the THIRD time and out of my own pocket here in the next few days. This is absolutely ridiculous, takes time to heal and away from my little son who is only 4yrs. old, work has to wait, and is just an inconvenience for everyone involved. We will be taking this to a higher level seeing that I do have documentation supporting my argument on this matter. The sad thing is that you spend a lot of money up front praying and hoping that you have chosen a doctor who truly cares about your well being. You place your trust in them and unfortunately, are let down. If you plan on going to Dr. Patt for Rhino, please rethink that decision.

This is my first Botox/filler appointment with Dr. Patt. He took the time to visit with me beforehand to make sure I was comfortable with the level of treatment. He had a gentle hand so it was not too painful and I didn’t get the feeling he wanted to overdo it. I was very pleased with the results and will be back in the future.

Very smart, skilled and experienced. Dr. Patt is also very caring and never recommends anything that is not in the patient’s best interest. Highly recommend. I’ve been a patient of his for decades and have needed several serious procedures.
