Jokingly, I now say that people should not be able to get procedures like the one I had because it changes the game entirely—I can not believe how Dr Keller used his magic to erase years of aging by having a neck and lower face lift! I had no idea what to expect (and I did my research on doctors near and far) and he FAR EXCEEDED what I thought could be done with the neck & face. Only 10 days later, I look incredible and the people I have seen just can’t believe that not only do I look younger and refreshed, but completely natural. The whole thing is crazy amazing! I’m still shocked and amazed at my youthful appearance and just so thankful for Dr. Keller’s years of knowledge and expertise!! Dr. Keller hit a nerve and my face took months to recover. His procedure left dark red indentations around both of my eyes that could never be fixed. Not that he tried. He said he had a machine for that but it was broken then he flew off to Hawaii on vacation and never bothered to see how I was recovering from the disfiguring nerve damage. It was a nightmare and I wish I’d gone to anyone else.
While I don’t have a patient of this name listed in our records, I’d like to say that we are very sorry that you had a problem that was slow to resolve. Temporary injuries of the nerve are reported in the medical literature to occur in 3-10% of facelifts and can be due to many things, including pressure on the nerve, liposuction, and many other causes. My incidence, when studied for our fellowship was a temporary incidence of less than 1/2%, which is low. Any surgeon who has not had a problem, is either not being honest, or does not have a sufficient experience in or number of facelifts to acquire the complication. I mention this complication in consultation and permitting. Again we regret that you have had this complication, and wish you an otherwise satisfactory recovery and experience.
