Gerow is a perfectionist. I had smp done by another nyc firm and it really wasn’t what I wanted. I thought I had to live with it. Went to J Gerow and he turned a mess into a work of art. If you are looking for SMP there’s only one. That’s Gerow. I cannot express how grateful I am to him.

Had 2 sessions so far by Jonathan Gerow, and I’ve never met a more talented SMP artist. He takes his time to make sure he understands what the clients wants, but also gives his true honest opinion, but most importantly he won’t do anything he feels could jeopardize the clients result (for instance if a client told him to put more density in an area, he won’t do it if he feels it could jeopardize anything) To me that truly speaks of his character, that he isn’t one of the people that will just do anything a client wants, and I think that shows what an amazing and honest person he is. Also very OCD with his work (IN A GOOD WAY). SMP is a procedure that can have devastating results if not done by a professional and I’m so blessed I found him. I truly believe my grandparents were looking over me to come across him. If anyone out there is worried about SMP because you worry about the what if the ink runs or bleeds, or looks like paint and fake result, GO TO Jonathan. The man is a true artist and knows his craft, and very humble about it!!
