Can’t say enough good things about Dr. Feinberg and the staff here. I came here in 2010 for my first round of FUT and it changed my life. Just came back for my second round. I would highly recommend HairMD to anybody who’s looking to restore their hairline.

Dr. Feinberg and his team do a great job from start to finish with the operation. Having completed FUT twice in the past two years, I am happy with the results from the first operation, and am hoping for similar results adding depth to the transplanted area. I would recommend Dr. Feinberg for people interested in a hair transplant in this NJ/NYC area, as he offers a great price and the process is more seamless than rivaling doctors (or flights to foreign countries).

I wasted $10,000 and my valuable time on the robotic FUE at this clinic. My hair never restored. This was 4 years ago. Response to the clinic: Untrue - you guys pushed robotic FUE. FUT was never mentioned. And why would you let your patient undergo a treatment that was not the right fit? See anything wrong with that?
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We regret that you feel your expectations were not met and take your concerns seriously. During your consultation in June 2021, we recommended FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) as the most effective procedure to achieve your goals. However, you specifically chose robotic FUE, which in your case has limitations in terms of donor area density and the coverage achievable in a single session, particularly for larger areas like the crown. It was explained at the time of your procedure that achieving full density in one session might not be possible for larger areas and that a second session could be required to reach the density you desired. This was also reiterated during follow-ups. Photos taken before and after the procedure reflect a noticeable improvement, and your results aligned with what was achievable based on the treatment you selected. We are happy to share your before-and-after photos to demonstrate the improvement achieved, with your permission. If you’d like to revisit your treatment plan or discuss this matter further, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly

Dr. Feinberg is an artist. My hair replacement is so natural looking, even my hairdresser still raves about it years later. If you are losing your hair, you need to get to him and his skilled team ASAP before he retires.

I had a transplant in FY23 and completely satisfied with the results. From the first consultation through all follow ups the staff and Dr were amazing. Dr Feinberg talked me through any concerns, the procedure as well as the after care process. The procedure itself went well, was painless and the staff made sure I was comfortable at every step. The post procedure instructions were straight forward and the follow up was equally as good and recovery was very smooth. At no point did I feel I didn’t have the information I needed. The team at HairMd are very attentive. I’m completely happy with the results. I would not hesitate to recommend the HairMD for anybody that is looking at a transplant. I can’t rate them highly enough.

I discovered Dr. Feinberg years ago after seeing him on ABC’s Good Morning. Impressed by his expertise, I scheduled a consultation, and he later performed several hair transplants for me. Despite living in Manhattan, getting to his NJ office was easy—just a 30-minute bus ride from Port Authority. Dr. Feinberg and his team were incredibly caring and professional throughout the process. He even treated us to lunch during the procedure and arranged a car service for the return trip. I highly recommend him for anyone considering hair restoration.

HAIR TRANSPLANT, AVOID!!! Very, very poor results after 1 year.. I remember they were joking around (when he was poking in the holes) with his girl helpers about where they want to go on vacation next and Dr Feinberg laughed jokingly and said "I need to focus here".. I only needed a small transplant done (1300 grafts in front) with minimal hair loss, and MAYBE half of them grew on the right side. And maybe 20% on the left side(yikes). They also didn't give proper post op instructions. They even said you can go in the sun/pool the next day after surgery!!! I never went out in the sun and treated my post op with TLC and stayed Inside for 2 weeks. It takes 10 full days for grafts to fully settle. So after that I knew they were BS. They also never checked up on me after(probably because they know most of their results are poor and avoid the situation). Avoid my mistake and go to someone more well known please. These guys just want your money. I also had been counting the money they were taking out each month out of my account because I did the payment plan. They ended up charging me an extra month, and I literally had to call them to refund my account in which they did immediately. However this makes me feel like maybe they do this to all of their patients in hopes they're not counting the money on the payment plan so they could snag a little bit more money from you.. Hope this helps someone avoid this incompetent surgeon. 30 years of transplants is bullshit. He does a variety of surgeries including Botox. I am now going to one of the best surgeons around located in Manhatten in a few months, whom only focuses on hair transplants. I should of went there first.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. Our post-op instructions are very clear: you can be in the pool but should not go underwater, and you can be in the sun but must wear a hat. We would never advise anything that could compromise your results. Regarding your results, it's important to note that it’s not unusual for some areas to need more density after the first procedure, and that was discussed during your follow-up. The doctor mentioned that while your overall progress was good, additional grafts may be needed to achieve your desired fullness. This is a normal part of the process and not a reflection of poor care. We want to clarify that we always follow up with our patients. A follow-up appointment is scheduled one week post-op, and if patients have any concerns before then, they are encouraged to reach out and the doctor is always available. As for the payment issue, yes, an error occurred, and we corrected it immediately. To suggest we are trying to take advantage of our patients financially is simply not true. We offer payment plans to make the procedure more accessible. The situation was resolved promptly and does not reflect any dishonesty on our part. Our focus is always on delivering the best possible results for our patients, and we regret that you feel this way but these remarks are completely unfair and untrue.
