Hello Kim, Thank you for your military service. To better understand your dissatisfaction, it would be helpful if you had shown other images your husband had taken the same day of service. It looks like your hand is in the photo, if I'm not mistaken. That suggest that these images are not from the same day of service. The only image of the same day is of our braider. He did mention that he wanted to text you the braids because he was pleased with them , and so much so that he tipped our braider almost $30 . Your daughter seemed to be very happy as well, playing with her beads and shaking them around. These images appear to be weeks after service was completed. According to the placement of the braids between images, it looks like they are arranged in a way appearing very uneven. Between images, some braids are in front of her shoulders some braids are behind, some coming from the front and some coming from the side. I believe She and her Father left our Salon with a side part and all the braids finished around the same area as they naturally would fall . There is also white fibers at the ends of her , typically over time the uncovered hair will attract fabric fibers if its not protected with a bonnet or satin scarf. Feel free to confirm if the hair was tied down in the weeks after her service. Tying the hair down would support a fresh look and longevity of the style. As you may know , when the hair is not tied down and expose to swimming , sleeping or other normal summertime, childhood activity, lived-in braids will tend to fray, get fuzzy ,grow out or come undone, beads may shift and otherwise not be as fresh as the first day appearing as they do in the attached images you provided. During the service, your husband sat with our braider and engaged in delightful conversation including directing our braider as to how to do the braids so that you would be satisfied once you returned. I encouraged him to let us know if he needed us to change or improve anything about the service, as he made it very clear that he wanted you to be pleased with the service we provided. We are a Black-owned ,family operated full service hair care salon. Our goal and mission is to provide excellent service to Our Community and gain their long-term trust and support. For this and many other reasons, we were sure to detangle, shampoo, deep condition, blow dry and trim your daughter's hair because the ends were extremely uneven and severely split at no additional cost for the trim. Our hair gets very dry in Utah and we see this a lot, so we chose to offer this complimentary trim service to your family. You may be aware that reviewing small businesses are vital to growth.
