It feels strange writing a review about an experience I had about 10 years ago as a teen. However, as I am older and have recently addressed trauma around my diagnosis with Alopecia Universalis around that time I feel compelled to speak about my experience in hopes that it doesn't happen with anyone else. Especially a kid who suddenly lost all of their hair in a span of 3 months as I did. Firstly, I was extremely grateful to have been donated a free wig with their 'Wigs for Kids' Program. I felt, and still feel lucky to have received a gorgeous wig at the darkest time in my life. My review, however, is to highlight a very traumatizing day with who I believe was the owner's significant other or spouse (I am unsure). I had an appointment that was supposed to be with Jeffery a few months after getting my wig to style it. I was so excited because thus far, my visits to the facility were positive. The staff was very kind to me and especially Jeffrey. However, when I went in with my mother to get my bangs cut, there was a conflict with his appointments and last minute we had to switch to another person to style my hair. I was a tad disappointed but still excited. Instantly when the stylist walked in it felt rushed, negative and as if I was an inconvenience. It didn't feel warm, empathetic, or even bare minimum respect given. In fact, the stylist looked at my wig and was borderline yelling with a loud very rude tone. Essentially, she was very upset that parts of my wig were knotted. She cut my bangs in a rush and not a good job at all. I remember my eyes watering and feeling completely shocked, scared, and humiliated. As a 16-year-old girl who just lost her hair a few months prior, completely bewildered by her treatment; this moment was the catalyst of my experience with severe panic attacks every day, self-harming, and intense suicidal ideation of course in adjunct with everything leading up to that moment. Shortly after I isolated myself & did not leave my house for 2 years. I feel it is important to speak on this and genuinely hope that was just a bad day she was having, because we are all still human. But it became one of the worse days for me. Most importantly, I hope no one else experienced or will experience the level of disrespect I did that day. The wigs are beautiful and aside from that one day, as I said, all other interactions with other staff members were tremendous. At 27 years old now I have still yet to return to this business or any others that are similar after that day despite living a few minutes down the road and have chosen to just purchase my wigs online. I feel no need to receive any sort of apology. I simply want other people, parents, teens, and kids to be aware of those who have recently lost their hair - as it is an extension of our identity/sense of self & has the potential to change peoples lives in a way that people with hair can never truly comprehend. All being said, I am still wishing this business nothing but continued success in assisting individuals with their hair loss journey. Be kind. God bless <3

I cannot express enough how thankful I am for the whole team at Jeffrey Paul's. My mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and we came to Jeffrey looking to have a custom wig made during the unfortunate hair loss during this journey of cancer. From Jessica who handles all communication, to Jeffrey working closely with us to customize her hair piece, to April who did the final cut-in, everyone was compassionate, friendly, professional, and welcoming. This team was able to give my mother and I something exciting to look forward to during a difficult time, and we could not be happier with the end product we received. We truly felt that everyone in the building deeply cared and had best interest in providing us with the best possible care we could have received. I am absolutely blown away with the quality of my moms new wig, how the team was able to replicate her hair style exactly how she wore her hair pre-hair loss, and the love we felt from start to finish. Jeffery Paul and team, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!!!! I wish there was something more I could do to thank you for making this such a special experience. You are all truly incredible people!!!

The staff and salon are great but when it comes to the treatment it didn't work for me. I had Hair loss and Oily scalp and after 3 months of using the yellow line for oily scalp of their products and the in salon treatment $$$ I had no different results at all after the 3 months. If you are having hair loss you should be more concerned about your overall health since if you have an imbalance or illness that you don't know about yet that excessive shedding might be your body trying to send you a signal and there's no topical treatment that will fix that. Focus on Finding the root cause of your hair and scalp problems even having a Hair mineral analysis might be helpful.. I do have to say although this treatment didn't work for me doesn't mean it couldn't work for someone else since not everyone have the same scalp condition.
Ana, we appreciate your feedback and taking the time to take our call today to help us better understand and work through some of the concerns you had. As we mentioned on the phone, we understand that you do not feel the treatment worked for you. It has been almost 6 months since we have seen you last and our team documented and went over with you that on several occasions you noted, “Your scalp feels less oily” & “Shedding is a lot better!” At your re-evaluation, 3 months after your initial test and treatments (Nov, Dec of 2019 and January 2020), we re-took your hair and scalp values, including oil levels and saw an incredible improvement. We were not only able to show you the incredible decrease in values, but the before and after images we took as well. We do emphasize with all of our guests that after the initial treatments, that ongoing at-home maintenance is required to continue to maintain results. This is very similar to working out in the gym or beginning a new diet – ongoing maintenance is needed to maintain results. We understand that COVID-19 has added to stress levels for everyone and we know that this stress is continuing to raise oil levels on the scalp and increase hair shedding. For this reason our treatments are more important now more than ever! Please know that our goal is to take care of every one of our guests helping them to achieve healthy hair and scalp. You will continue to be welcome as one of our cherished guests and at any time that you would like to come back to our center, we would be honored to once again help you get the results you experienced at the end of 2019 and beginning of 2020.
