Very disappointed in their customer service. I bought a wig from them and got home to wear and it kept falling off. Tried to return and they would not return even though it was not a special order. I will never go to that store again. All they want is a sell and push you out the door.
Patsy, Thank you for your review. We were unable to take back your purchase because it has been altered after you picked it up. Be it a wig, clothing or other personal article, items that have been personalized (altered) are typically non returnable. Should you have not had the piece cut or waited a month before voicing a displeasure we would have gladly made other arrangements for you. I'm sure if it were your retail establishment you would have some sort of the same type of policy. Sometimes when people are new to wig wearing it takes a little help and guidance to get it on and stay on properly. We are still willing to give you that help should you decide to come back in and accept it. Good Luck to you.

The absolute worst business that I have ever, and I mean ever, tried to visit . I’m a cancer patient, I had an appointment at 1:30. I thought that I was running a little close on time, so I did not stop to eat, even though I had not eaten since the day before. I arrived 15 minutes early. It was clear that there would be no time for me anytime soon. I was told to go have something to eat and be back at 2:15. I arrived back at 2:00. Still no acknowledgement of me, what so ever. At around 2:20 another young lady walked in, off the street, and was immediately acknowledged and taken into the salon. At 2:43 I left! I was made to feel like a third class citizen! My drive there was around 1;30 hours and same for the return home! That’s at least 3 hours round trip to be treated like a third class citizen! I’m confident that , given the right treatment, I would have spent more than any clients, combined that they passed me over for ! Stay clear of these crooks!

I apologize that we were unable to take you exactly at the prescribed appointment time; however, as the store manager explained, we were unexpectedly short a staff member due to her serious health issues unexpectedly flaring up. You mention being a cancer patient, so one would assume you, of all people, would understand that illness and flare-ups often come without warning, and we have to adjust accordingly. As far as feeling like a third-class citizen, that’s unfortunate, and we are genuinely sorry that you feel that way. We did nothing intentionally to create that projection; we make it a point to ensure that everyone who comes through our door feels highly valued. We successfully saw over 15 people on this day, most of whom were struggling with their own medical battles affecting their hair. The majority of them reasonably understood our compromised position. So, to call us the “worst” and use the term "crooks” is highly unfair simply because we were running off schedule. We wish you the best, LNY Wigs

I wanted a wig for an upcoming vow renewal. I’m so glad I came here! Mary was my assistant and she did a fabulous job! I also really liked the lady who styled my hair! The staff is very helpful and friendly. I love my wig, and the staff made this a fun experience too! I highly recommend LYN Wigs!!

I am beyond disappointed with this wig shop and cannot recommend it to anyone. Three years ago, my grandmother entrusted them with a $550 wig, a significant expense for her since she is on a fixed income. Sadly, they lost it. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they tried to cover it up by offering her a completely different wig and pretending it was the original. To make matters worse, they took advantage of her poor eyesight and tried to pass off a cheap replacement as the one she had paid for. This is not just bad business – it’s a complete lack of integrity. The staff were unhelpful, dishonest, and refused to make things right. If you value honesty and customer care, I would advise you to avoid this place at all costs. It’s a shame that a business can treat its customers with such disrespect. She has called each month for 3 years to no avail.
Chance, Thank you for your review. We're not perfect, and admittedly so In our 15 year history we have had to replace a wig a time or two for different reasons. However, it's always with the customer's knowledge, and it's the customer who chooses the replacement to their satisfaction. My wife has cancer. The chemo has been rough on her. Her hair has come out to the point she won't even leave her bedroom. All she does is cry. I found LNY with a google search. They took her in with no appointment necessary. They were kind and treated her with dignity. They were patient, having her try many different colors and styles within her liking. She came in the store in tears and left smiling. You EARNED a five star from me. Y'all are the best.
