I called Myra a few days ago explaining I have a new piece that I want to have cut and installed. She told me the price will be $130 and If I want color it will be additional $20. I made the appointment and drove from Woodland Hills to Westwood and when I got there she told me It will be $430.00 plus the cost of color. She is not honest and they try to take advantage of people. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Ross
I am very sorry for any pricing confusion. It sounds like you may have misunderstood the cost of a regular service vs the cost of a new cut-in. We take great pride in providing the best possible service to our clients and we do our best to make our pricing transparent and consistent. I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations Ross. We provided you the cost of a service and color. The cut-in of a new unit is not part of a regular service and unfortunately the unit you purchased elsewhere was also not a good match for you and the result would not have met our standards of a natural looking hair system. We wish you all the best in finding a salon that can provide all the services you are looking for at the price point you would like to pay. I would just like to mention that Ross did not receive a service from us and his review is regarding a pricing misunderstanding, and not the quality of the services we provide. I would like to add that our pricing is a fraction of most of the hair system companies in Los Angeles and we happily quote you pricing prior to your appointment upon request. Myra is truly incredible. Two words that come to mind when I think about her is “professional” and “mom.” She cares sooo much about her products and how everything looks on you. It reminded just of how my mom always helped me with my hair when I was younger. She has done replacements a countless number of times and has it down to a science. She literally won’t let you leave until you are both happy and confident in what you see. That’s the type of person I’ve always been looking for to do my hair and I found it. I’m just so happy she loves what she does and I will always choose her to do my hair. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING

DONT TRUST It’s unbelievable that they take advantage of people’s needs. When I bought the kit, there was NEVER any mention of a subscription. They’ve charged me almost 400 AUD for three hair products!!! It’s absurd, it’s dishonest.
Laura, you have never been my client. You have confused my business with some other business with a similar name. I have a hair salon in West Los Angeles and I do not sell "kits" or whatever you purchased. Unfortunately several businesses use a similar name (MD Hair) and I often get confused with them. Myra is 1 of 1!! Have been seeing her for over a year for my hair and can't imagine seeing anyone different! She's great at what she does and will make sure you leave feeling happy with how you look! She's an LA gem and I would definitely recommend seeing her!

Definitely recommend MD Hair Design for all hair needs. In a couple of hours we were able to fix my hair in a friendly environment, and the materials used are excellent quality. 5 stars!
