I was very nervous my 1st time getting lip filler, but Rhian the RN, along with the rest of the staff helped ease my concerns. I felt very comfortable, experienced minimal pain, and am loving the results.

Between my wife and I we have known Dr. Carly Klein for over 20 years as she has built her practice. She only employees the best of the best and it is evident in the quality of services that you experience when you come to their practice. National Hair Loss Association is more than just a practice dealing with hair, It deals with the whole body and how you feel about yourself!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review! You and your wife have been such a joy to work with the past 10 years!

I scheduled a consultation with Brandy. She recommended a hair transplant and preached about how amazing Dr. Friedman was. I went with them because of their amazing reviews. Brandy is amazing at sales, however when it comes to selling you unrealistic results and over talking you, she’s even better. I’m sure they are going to respond to this review stating how my results are within expectation even though they haven’t seen them, that is no excuse for the over harvesting that took place. Please please please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. My original review to Dr. Friedman is as follows. This has been a horrific experience. To start they over harvested because the machine wasn’t working properly, they harvested 900 grafts before realizing it, those grafts weren’t usable so they threw them away, while they didn’t charge me for them I’m 26 years old and have bald spots in the back of my head because of how much they harvested. It was supposed to be 1500 grafts but barely any of the hair has grown, I did my best to educate myself on realistic results but this is a horror story, one side they are curly and the other side they are straight. It literally looks like a hack job except I paid 12k. I bought their 3k laser cap and everything and almost 9 months later the results are terrifying, please do yourself a favor and do not come here. They will do so much more damage than good. UPDATE: Their response couldn’t be further from the truth. They never had Dr. Friedman reach out and I know he nor they have any record for it because it didn’t happen, they clearly do not have any concern or care for their patients as they don’t even know who I am given they think I had an eyebrow transplant. Please don’t use them!
Kenny, We apologize that there was some initial confusion on our end, which led to an inaccurate response on google. We show record that we had good communication with phone calls and messages even after business hours during the immediate post-surgery period and calls as needed in the months that followed. You are correct that we at NHLMA did not see your progress in person but on two occasions we suggested an in-person follow-up to take photos in order to closely monitor your healing and progress. These follow-ups are no cost to you and offered as a courtesy although we were not the facility that performed your surgery. We did not hear from you again until April and we immediately relayed your concerns to Dr. Friedman at Scottsdale Institute and then contacted you to discuss. A month later you reached out again with photos and asked for our opinion on your progress at five months post-transplant. I explained that it’s typical to experience shock hair loss around 6-8 weeks post-surgery, with regrowth beginning around the time you were observing. I did leave you a message when I realized my error in our online response and as we mentioned in my voicemail, we are more than happy to meet with you for a consultation to take detailed photos of your hair and to offer additional advice on maximizing your transplant results. I regret that you were unhappy with the surgical experience you had at Scottsdale Institute. Although you are not on a care plan with our office and did not purchase any treatments at NHLMA, we will still continue to support you in all that is within our power. Let me know when a good time to chat or when we can take a look at everything with you. As previously discussed, Scottsdale Institute for Cosmetic Dermatology is Dr. Friedmans business and concerns post surgery or refunds are handled directly through Dr. Friedman’s office. Once concerns were voiced to us, as a courtesy we immediately got in touch with Dr. Friedman’s office to help facilitate a meeting for you with him which you declined. Dr. Friedman called you personally and you did not speak with him. It was suggested to come in so that his trained transplant team could help you with training your newly transplanted eyebrows to grow in a natural direction and you also declined. Expectations were laid out prior to surgery and we made ourselves available for any questions before you moved forward with surgery. We are sorry to hear you are disappointed in the final result from your surgery.

I happened upon NHLMA after a friend mentioned their services. I am from out of state, and will admit I was initially skeptical and not sure that I would see any benefit. But I could not have been more wrong! I met with Brandy both via zoom and in person, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and provided me with lots of education and information and easy ways to make a difference in my hair health. We reviewed my hair follicles, bloodwork, and she put together an incredibly effective approach. I also met with Julie, their nutritionist, who made some wonderful supplement recommendations to also address vitamin deficiencies. There was never any pressure to purchase anything, and they made sure I knew how to order items on my own, if I wanted to do so. Within a few months, my hairdresser began noticing my hair growth and density and would comment on it at appts, and my shedding was visibly decreased. It had been over a year since I had spoken with Brandy, but she graciously met with me again just today. She took time to review my products, ask about my hair loss/shedding and bloodwork and made a few more easy recommendations. I have been absolutely blown away by the knowledge, kindness, competency and professionalism of this team, and my hair and health is a testament to their success. I'm so glad I found them, and I know I continue to be in good hands!! Thanks Brandy and the team!! You are all wonderful!

Stephanie is an incredible injector! She walked me through everything very thoroughly so I understood how everything would work as a first time client. I will definitely be returning and recommending Stephanie. Carly has created such a calm, professional and inviting space to make her clients feel comfortable and coming back. Thank you NHLMA!

The employees at NHLMA are fabulous. Brandy answered all my questions and was very informative on hair loss. She truly wants to help you with your hair loss problems. Sarah at the front desk is great too.

Brandy is the best. She has a way of instilling confidence & provides an assurance to trust the process. Hair loss & recovery can be an arduous journey & Brandy "holds your hand" every step of the way. So worth making this investment in yourself with help from true professionals in their field!!! Update: A year later I reached out to Brandy as was having some new shedding possibly from stress &/or a prolonged cold. The worst part? This was all happening 3 weeks out from my wedding. Brandy has tirelessly answered calls, texts, & sets me more at ease that this is temporary & by continuing with her suggestions that hair will bounce back. She is the ONLY one I will now take hair advice from. Thank you so much for all you do!
