I went to Penny James because I was at my lowest point with my plaque psoriasis and eczema on my scalp. I had visited 6 different dermatologists who just wanted to give me steroid creams, antibiotics and harmful products for my hair and scalp. Nothing worked, in fact it made the condition worse. My self esteem was shot and being in the health field industry myself was causing issues both personally and professionally. Penny could see the distress I was under and quickly took me under her wing. I felt very comfortable and was happy that she likes to take a more natural approach as opposed to the harmful pills other doctors were prescribing. I was suffering with this condition for almost 9 months and Penny was able to help me with her products within a week! I am a new man and can't recommend or thank her enough, I highly suggest if you suffer with this or any scalp/hair condition to see her, I have been on her regimen for months now and my scalp is completely clear and has no more inflammation. Thank you Penny for helping me when I was just about to give up all hope. You have truly changed how I look at myself in the mirror and I can't say enough about how you truly cared and helped me.

Over the last few years I have experienced a lot of hair loss and thinning and it got worse last year. I found Penny online and am so glad I found her. At my first session with her she spent a lot of time asking questions about the hair loss, timeline and other factors, she did a hair and scalp analysis and made a diagnosis with a very clear treatment plan. She made it clear that it would take 3-6 months to see a difference. I am following her suggestions and treatment plan and am happy to say I see a big difference after 3 months and I am feeling very hopeful about my hair looking healthy and good as I continue with the treatments. Penny is so empathetic and knowledgable, I felt a huge relief after speaking to her. She also checks in regularly and after appointments to make sure I am happy with the results. I’ve been meaning to give you an update on my scalp!!! So, I love the scalp cream you gave me. At the beginning, I was using it for a few days then slowing down when my flare ups subsided. But recently, I haven’t had to use it!!!!!! I’ve been washing my hair every day like you said, which I think has also helped. But also! The advice you gave me about lifestyle and supplements I think has been the biggest game changer. I’ve been eating an anti-inflammatory based diet, limiting my wheat and gluten intake especially, and OMG! Not only is my scalp better but my skin is clearer and I think it’s actually helped me lose more body fat amidst my personal health journey. I mean, things have really kicked up a notch for me there and the only changes I’ve made were your suggestions. And the L-tyrosine has really improved my focus. I actually stopped taking it for 2 weeks when I ran out and felt the difference without it. So, I went back on it. I went to see Ms. Penny on 1/3/24. I am losing my hair due to change in hormones. Penny was so knowledgeable on the issues I am having. She suggested a shampoo and conditioner that was made by another Trichologist. She also gave me a sample. The product worked and I saw less hair loss on my wash day. She educated me that even though my hormones are changing it's also the products that I'm was using, and to induce my iron levels. What I appreciated about Penny was her sincerity and concern regarding the problem I was having. I am a native Black American and she exceeded my expectations.
