Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE)

FUE is a minimally invasive hair transplant technique where individual follicular units (1-4 hairs) are extracted directly from the donor area using micro punches (0.7-1.0mm). The follicles are then implanted into recipient sites in balding areas. This method leaves tiny, barely visible scars and allows for faster healing compared to strip harvesting methods.
Per Procedure$11,800
Per Graft$5.9
Direct Hair Implantation (DHI)

Direct Hair Implantation (DHI)

DHI uses a patented Choi implanter pen that allows for direct implantation of extracted follicles without creating recipient sites beforehand. This technique provides more precise control over depth, direction, and angle of implanted hairs, potentially offering denser results and faster healing.
Per Procedure$14,150
Per Graft$7.1
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP involves drawing the patient's blood, processing it to concentrate platelets, and injecting the platelet-rich plasma into areas of hair loss. Growth factors in platelets can stimulate dormant follicles, improve hair thickness, and slow hair loss progression. Multiple sessions are typically required.
Per Session$800

I had also failed hair transplant with Dr.Rome. He seems like a nice guy but did very poor job. I do not recommend Artas robotic to anyone.

I have only called this office for a consultation. There is no Free Consultation, you have to pay $150 for a consultation which will then be applied to the cost of the procedure. I will give a complete review of this place if I have a procedure done there. The person answering the phone is very friendly, helpful and professional. I would advise this office to consider Free consultations in order to stay competitive in the marketplace.

In November of 2018 Dr Rome treated me for hair restoration. He explained to me, that he would see full results of my procedure within 10-12 months. Initially I felt as my results were very promising. After the hair grafts fell out I felt less confident in my results. Dr Rome assured me that it was completely expected for the hair grafts to fall out me but stated that he was confident that the new hair would be healthy & full in a proceeding months. To my disappointment, that was not the case. After over 2 years I have yet to see any benefits to the procedure that Dr Rome performed on me. I couldn’t be more disappointed in my results & I couldn’t be more upset spending $8,000.00 on the procedure.

I have been and it is not as it represents itself on line . Luxury is a goal to be achieved but it poses for now, the women who run the desk couldn’t be more efficient and polite ...however I was one if two clients that day . I don’t usually write reviews, right?. We seem to be compelled to only note the negative and that’s not what this is but my experience was far from warm and cuddly - First off I was never offered any whiskey or shown to a private lounge. I did have to wait to be seen which was confusing because I was the only customer paying customer and I did pay for a haircut for product I have a consultation with the barber heavily and the only thing that was offered to me were little Shortys of draft beer. I’m a whiskey man that was the major selling point to me and the fact that I had to find out how much it would cost for my procedure. The ad is misleading because during the consultation I was told that is one price and one price only for the robotic hair treatment plan procedure I just divided up in the zones it doesn’t matter if you get one or all four zones the price is quoted to me at 11 five. I was the only customer I was willing to have more procedures time is valuable to me if you have a consultation wasted my time and being in a peripheral ancillary say market place in cosmeceutical‘s, the staff the doctor made no effort perhaps to do a special for me offer me something make me feel special in anyway. Period. So that was duly noted I felt like I was a walking $and although lucky enough don’t need the discount nothing was offered. I have short hair and I paid $65 for a haircut chipped Tip accordingly and even booked future appointments. Special note you will get charged if you fail to cancel your appointment or don’t show up. All in all I really want to like this place but besides the receptionist I was not made to feel safe special and I’m wondering if it’s because how I don’t know I’m not going through sexual reassignment. I thought because they were working on clients who are going to reassign that if I wasn’t going through the assignment why I get some really great work done well I’m still on the fence haven’t made a decision yet I’d like to take my partner into so that’s a big ticket for them they’ve made no offers This review was quickly quickly written and any errors in punctuation or spelling are due to the proofreader this is not a bad review it’s a neutral review hope it helps

I decided to have a hair transplant procedure because about 12 years ago I had had a transplant that did not work. I am not bald but have thinning hair which has bothered me for years. After that bad experience, I was very apprehensive until I read about the Robotic procedure. My last procedure was the strip method which besides not getting any results, left me with a horrible scar and also even all these years later I have pain in the back of my head at the site of the surgery. It is not horrible, but it is very sensitive and I am aware of the slight pain all the time. This is why I had never considered another transplant until I discovered the Robotic method. I did my research and found out there were only a handful of doctors in the Los Angeles area who did this surgery. I called and made appointments with 3 of them. There was a 4th doctor I called but he wanted to charge $150 for a consultation which I thought was ridiculous. The first doctor I went to tried to convince me to do the strip method again but then found out my scalp was too tight to get many grafts. He then wanted to do a tattoo which I told him no. The next suggestions was a manual transplant in which as they explained to me, the doctor takes the grafts one at a time. I became very confused because I had told them when I arrived I wanted the Robotic transplant. They finally agreed but when they told me the cost, I thought it was too expensive. The next week I went to another clinic which was so called "world famous". Again they checked for the strip method and found out I was not eligible and then pushed for the manual transplant. I said I had come for the Robotic transplant and they tried to convince me the manual method was better and they could get more grafts with this method. I left there believing them. When I left their office, I started talking to a guy who had just undergone the strip method with them and he told me they had told him this was the best procedure for him. I could not believe they would actually cut someone when the robotic treatment is available. I guess no one explained to him he will most probably had a sensitive and sometimes painful head possible for the rest of his life like I do. I left there very depressed. The next week I went to see Dr. Rome. He met with me directly unlike the other 2 offices where salesmen spoke to me at the beginning. He assured me that I was eligible for the Robotic procedure and he felt he could get a sufficient number of grafts. (unlike the other 2 offices who told me only with the manual method they could get the sufficient number of grafts). He also gave me the cost which I felt was very fair. A few days later I was speaking to a doctor I know at the gym about the procedure and he told me the doctors who perform the procedures have to pay the company who invented the Robotic machine received a royalty on each graft taken. I then figured out why the other 2 clinics did not want to do the Robotic procedure because they make more money on the strip and the manual procedure. I then knew immediately I was going to do the procedure with Dr. Rome. The next day I scheduled my surgery with Dr. Rome. The day of my procedure, I arrived at his surgery center, I met his staff which I found out were some of the best in the business and had done countless procedures. The day went fast and the kindness and professionalism were second to none. Dr. Rome was great and I could not have asked for a better staff including Rodney who was amazing! The surgery was not painful at all unlike the strip surgery I had 12 years prior. He was also able to get the exact amount of grafts he had told me. Dr. Rome followed up with me over the next few days to make sure I was doing well. It has been 5 months since I had the procedure and I am already seeing results. Dr. Rome is truly the best in the business and also has integrity which is hard to find these days. I feel very fortunate I met him and I chose him to do my procedure.
