UPDATED REVIEW There was close to no communication after my operation and my hairline is maybe only 25% better then pre-operation. Unfortunately for me, I trusted Dr. Gohil and the Robotics team to advise and lead me in this process. I neglected to realize it is only a business and I was a sale like anyone else. Make sure you negotiate number of grafts and price per as this can fluctuate client to client. I also emailed them about my dissatisfaction before coming to google and they did not respond.

Robotic Hair Restoration of Long Island did an amazing job with my hair transplant. The team was super reassuring in the weeks leading up to the procedure. My nerves were immediately relieved with a simple quick call to reassure any worries. The day of the procedure was as smooth as could be and went exactly how it was explained to me prior to the experience. As for the experience itself, they do a great job numbing the area being worked on and making sure you are comfortable throughout the entirety of the day. You take multiple breaks to give yourself time to adjust and walk around if necessary. Lunch was provided for me and I had a plethora of options to choose from. The aftercare was thoroughly explained to me as I was sent home with a goodie bag of essential items for a healthy recovery. Any question or concerns I had after the procedure were still answered promptly and detailed which was much appreciated. I wanted to write a review when I was near the end of full results. I had my hair transplant done in December and it is now August. My hair is full again and I can finally say I feel like myself. If you’re on the fence, just get it done. You will not regret it. Dr Gohil and his staff were all outstanding and the long term results are amazing. I receive compliments everyday and can’t thank them enough. True masters of their craft! I take pictures of my hair every month and will post another review when I hit one year.

No follow up appointment, no follow up call, no pain medication. overpromised on what the real hair will look like after. I can't say this place is the worst excuse it is the only place Ive been to, but I can attest you should go for a second opinion elsewhere, or maybe go elsewhere to begin with. Should be more straight forward with the expectation.

Regarding follow-up care, at the time your procedure was performed , we typically invited patients back for a hair wash shortly after the procedure, though we are not sure if you took advantage of this service. We also advised patients verbally to schedule follow-up appointments at the six and twelve-month marks, and to contact us with any questions or concerns. We apologize if this information wasn't clearly communicated or if you felt unsupported during your recovery. We've since implemented a more formal follow-up process to ensure better continuity of care for all our patients. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our services. Concerning pain management, we're sorry you felt your needs weren't adequately addressed. We do provide printed discharge papers with instructions regarding pain meds with over-the-counter recommendations such as Tylenol. Additionally, we verbalize this information to all of our patients before and after the procedure. If patients feel they need something more, we can always prescribe a stronger pain medicine, and have done so in the passed. We'll review our protocols to ensure we're providing appropriate pain relief options to all patients. Regarding your results, we strive to provide realistic expectations for all our clients.
