I called to inquire about PRP treatment, the office refused to share pricing details until you pay the $250 consultation. Very shady business practice.
We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We do not quote pricing online since prices do change from time to time as well as the procedures we offer. We encourage all patients to come in and consult with Dr. Lam about their aesthetic goals and he will help develop a customized treatment plan for them and will be given a quote valid for 90 days for services we do provide. For example, we no longer offer PRP in general (although we can still do it if that is what you desire). The reason is that Dr. Lam believes that PRP suffers from 3 major drawbacks that he has overcome with newer technology: first, there is tremendous discomfort with it (which means you will not continue with this therapy in his experience over time); second, it is not very effective (the major reason he has abandoned it); third, it can traumatize the scalp and cause hair shedding. Accordingly, Dr. Lam's hair stem technology helps to overcome these three problems with much more consistent results and without pain or recovery. He uses high levels of plant-based growth factors that result in much better outcomes than when he performed PRP. He still can offer PRP to the very few individuals who request it, but he believes PRP is an outdated technique in his office. We look forward to taking care of you should you still be interested.

I had a terrible experience with this office due to their complete disregard for patients’ time and well-being. They canceled my appointment twice, both times at the last minute, causing me to lose two days of work. When I called to address the issue, their response was a casual “Bro, we can’t do anything.” No apology, no accountability—just complete indifference. To make matters worse, their only “solution” was to reschedule me for next month, without any concern for the time I had already lost or my medical needs. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable for a medical office. If you value your time and need a reliable healthcare provider, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
