I found Strands Medical Wigs thanks to my husband’s diligent research. I initially attempted to preserve my hair, but unfortunately it did not work for me. Thankfully, when we reached out, Jennifer expedited the process and made sure that I only had to endure one day without a wig. The quality was so good, that people (even some family members) didn’t even realize that it wasn’t my real hair! Not only did Jennifer properly educate us on continued care of the wig, she was so kind and calmed my nerves about losing my hair. I will forever refer people to her!

Far and away the best service and products in the Denver/Colorado Springs region! I visited four different salons in Denver and Colorado Springs and was a client at three. Strands is for me. Jennifer feels called to her work. It's her way of helping others, so she takes it to the highest level. She is kind, honest, patient with folks who are frustrated and hurting, and an incredibly gifted aesthetician as well. I've gotten more compliments on her cuts and styles than any for even my own hair. She is really really talented, and cuts exactly the way you want and perfectly for your face. If privacy is important, she also works from a lovely house portioned into a separate office, bathroom, warm waiting area, and 100%-private salon room for fitting/cutting/styling. She's with you the entire process and in a gentle, customized, and personalized way. She takes you through all care for your investment (washing, affixing, brushing, styling) to maximize longevity. And she responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Finally, she fully understands (and can explain) health insurance mandates around her products and provides clients with the most accurate and thorough paperwork I've seen from any such business. She's a true professional. It's all about making something difficult and painful as smooth and pleasant as possible for her clients. If you live in Colorado, don't go anywhere else.

I am so glad that I called Jennifer and decided to get a human hair wig instead of a synthetic one. The best thing about Jennifer is how much she cares. Before chemo, I have always had very thick hair and it has been so hard to lose it. Jennifer saw the pictures I sent her and she told me soon “I have just the right wig for you!”. She met with my husband and I and took so much time with us.Later, after trying it on and looking in the mirror, I said, “I don’t know how it could be better!”. Relief and hope all at once. It was so matched to my regular color and style that many did not know it was a wig. Jennifer also has many recommendations to get through the chemo ordeal and I have followed them.
