There’s no ego here. I can’t imagine a better place to go for a hair system service/salon experience. There’s not been a moment in my adult life that brought me more *confidence* than when I started my service. To anyone who may be thinking about doing this or might be on the fence, I hope you reach out to them for a consultation. There has never been any pressure from the team — you are in charge. As someone who started losing my hair suddenly and quickly, I struggled for years with the choice of doing a hair transplant, knowing no matter what I paid, it couldn’t fully bring back what I loved about my hair. When I discovered the hair system option and found The Den, saw their work (you can check out their site to see examples), I was floored to finally sit in the chair and let them do what they do. As for the “sensation”/general feeling of having a system — it’s not even noticeable to me as a go about my days. I forget it’s there when I walk out their door (I was worried about how it might feel day to day) and the few instructions to keep it in good shape until your next appointment are simple and easy to follow. And — for those who may be older (folks up to their 70s+) and worried about a style, one of the things I also love about their work is their ability to work with you to find your preferred “age appropriate” look. BEWARE. There are cameras throughout the premises including the styling rooms. Yes, in the styling rooms. They do not disclose this to you. When I brought this to their attention, they were very defensive. WARNING. YOU ARE BEING RECORDED throughout a very intimate and private procedure. They do not disclose this to you. The stylists seemed like nice guys, but OMG I felt incredibly violated. They did not seem to understand that their service demands ultimate trust and confidentiality. Imagine if you learned there were cameras in a doctor's exam room--and you had undressed.

Raquel, one of their team members, was incredibly kind and accommodating. Understanding the urgency of my situation—especially with the holidays approaching—she went out of her way to schedule me for a same-day emergency appointment. Raquel did her utmost to rectify the damage, significantly improving the appearance of my hair system, and to my astonishment, she didn’t charge me for her services.
