It has been just over five months now since I visited The D'Souza Clinic in London. I am absolutely blown away with the result of my procedure. I can't believe what a difference it has made to my self esteem and my family have been amazed by how much younger I look. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr D'Souza and his expert team. I received total VIP treatment in superb surroundings. Mr D'Souza did a great job with the local anaesthetic and for me personally I found the whole process comfortably within my pain limitations. I have had far worse trips to the Dentist. The other thing I thought was very impressive is how I felt in control of the proceedings. If I wanted to stop for a break or a bathroom visit. Change the channel of the TV. Listen to a particular radio station. Absolutely nothing was a problem. My comfort was paramount and nothing was too much trouble. Being the only patient on the day made me feel very special and the whole team were there just for me. I was kept informed throughout every stage of the process and I was encouraged to ask questions. At one point I even fell asleep and I never expected to do that. If you are considering getting a hair transplant, you will be probably doing a lot of research and considering the options. I know I did and it was a big decision. I hope you find this review helpful and I am sure that a visit to see Mr D'Souza for a personal face to face consultation will help also. There is no pressure or hard sell. Just an expert, friendly consultation with no obligation. I am very grateful to Mr D'Souza and his team. Getting a hair transplant was one of my better decisions. Choosing to see Mr D'Souza was the icing on the cake.

I've had two relatively small FUE procedures with Chris six years apart (2019, 2025). Since my first procedure, perceptions have changed significantly - social media and greater normalisation of HTs has led to a huge growth in options for people exploring surgery, with more clinics than ever. 'Going to Turkey' is now byword for getting a HT. Social media (especially TikTok) is full of first-hand documented accounts of (mostly younger) patients getting a HT, typically abroad - a choice usually always made on the basis of: 1) cheap prices; 2) maximum grafts (despite numbers being meaningless absent of the patient's own situation); and 3) a low hairline. Having once been a young man in his mid-20s with anxiety about his hair, I really do understand how younger patients on limited budgets could be drawn-in by the kind of HT offer presented not only by Turkish clinics, but increasingly London-based clinics mimicking the successful and lucrative Turkish brand. I can't emphasise enough how important it is to look beyond the allure of max grafts for minimum cost, and a teenage hairline. Each patient and case is different, and patients deserve to be treated with consideration and respect for their own situations. They need to recognise that a HT is 'for-life' surgery and the outcome will be part of your image for good - for better or worse. In rare cases, the procedure may also interact with known/underlying health conditions, so aftercare is critical. To me, the few £100 or £1,000 less you might pay for a procedure in Turkey isn't a saving. It's a cost you forego to miss out on life-long aftercare from a world-class surgeon, doctor and physician. What happens if anything goes wrong? What happens if you aren't happy? What happens if the unregulated clinic you were treated at closes in a year? Or the doctor decides to move on? What will happen to your patient history, records and documents? What incentive do they have when treating you to go beyond getting you into the clinic for one day and getting your money? I chose Chris back in 2019 and again in 2025 for several reasons. One - he listens. What medication I would or wouldn't take. He took the time to understand my expectations and how realistic they were or weren't. He understood my lifestyle and advised a procedure/outcome that would be appropriate for it. Chris prioritises morals and patient outcomes over profit, every time. I had to delay my second surgery at short notice due to a medical issue, and he accommodated this without question. Two - he is a leading practitioner and researcher in the field. As President of the BAHRS, he and other members adhere to a strict set of principles on techniques, surgical practices and ethics, with Chris leading the organisation. His commitment to BAHRS allows he and other members to share best practice and ensure patients have a clear way to differentiate between doctors who might compromise what's best for their patients. Three - his practice on Wimpole Street. Discrete, with one patient per day (it really is all about you). An extremely spacious surgery room which helps the patient to relax, and the surgical team to work efficiently and hygienically. The whole team are present for the whole procedure, so no part-timers coming in for one part of the surgery and then ducking out. Four - the results. I had only c.1,000 hairline/temple grafts in 2019. It has worked well for me and helped to mask patchy hairloss from psoriasis. My second surgery six years later has filled-in the majority of my mid-scalp and behind the temples, while reinforcing the hairline. A further c.1,250 grafts. I have a total safe donor area of c.7,000 grafts, but thanks to Chris's world class skill and his close monitoring of my own unique case, I will have good density and a strong hairline having used barely 30% of my safe donor area. I couldn't recommend Chris more. Everyone who considers seeing a HT surgeon carries around that private anxiety and shame about their hair - with Chris you can both share that and sort it.

I've been researching into hair improvement treatments for some time, more so to prevent losing any more, and have now met with 3 specialists in the area who were quite reasonable. I feel the need to share however that my experience with meeting Dr DSouza in October was particularly exceptional and his manner superb. I ask a lot of questions!- But he took the time I needed to answer them thoroughly, I didn't feel rushed out the door, for which I am most grateful. It became quickly obvious that Dr DSouza is both knowledgeable and passionate for his work. Whilst it appears I am not ready for surgery as such, nonetheless, I am now following his guidance regarding other routes to take and it's going well. The clinic is well-presented and Reception very helpful. I would certainly recommend a visit, if like me you are a bit lost in the myre and need some certified guidance. Thank you and I will see you again if/when the time comes!

5-Star Hair Transplant Experience – Worth the Journey to London! I recently had a hair transplant and couldn’t be more thrilled with the results and the overall experience. Although there are clinics closer to home in the West Midlands, I decided to travel to London to see Chris after two years of research, and I’m so glad I did. From start to finish, the experience was incredibly relaxing—I wasn’t even the slightest bit anxious, as everything was explained thoroughly beforehand. In fact, I actually enjoyed the procedure! I switched off, caught up on some overdue Netflix (including a well-deserved kid + wife-free day!), while Chris and his team took care of everything. They were incredibly hospitable and even ordered me some Deliveroo lunch of my choice, which I enjoyed thoroughly! Chris and Jess were exceptional. They immediately put me at ease, explained every detail of the procedure, and answered all my questions without any pressure. Their ethical approach truly stood out—they weren’t trying to upsell me, but instead, provided honest, transparent advice that made me feel fully informed and confident in my decision. It was clear they had my best interests at heart. After thorough research, I established that Chris is at the very top of his field. Not only does he have extensive experience, but he also lectures and speaks to other hair transplant surgeons in the UK and at international conferences. This gave me complete confidence in his skills and expertise. I knew I was in the best hands possible. One of the things I was most impressed with was the cutting-edge numbing device Chris used to numb my scalp. No other hair transplant surgeons had mentioned using this, and it meant that I didn’t feel any pain before, during, or even after the procedure. It made the whole process so much more comfortable. I also understand that with any elective surgery, there are risks, and things may not always go as planned. But knowing Chris’s level of expertise gave me the peace of mind to go ahead—and regardless of the outcome, I wouldn’t have chosen anywhere else. The clinic is beautiful, and the team is incredibly warm and down-to-earth. They were so professional and made sure I was comfortable at every stage. The aftercare was excellent—Chris regularly checked in to ensure my recovery was on track and answered any questions I had. The results are already noticeable, and I’m thrilled with my new, natural-looking hairline. Honestly, I wish I had done this sooner with Chris. If you’re considering a hair transplant, I highly recommend having a consultation with him—you won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much, to Chris and the team! 😊🙏🏽
