I had my hair transplant at Vinci Hair Clinic today. It’s too early to say anything about the results, but the procedure itself went smoothly and wrapped up around 4pm. The staff were friendly and professional, and the clinic felt clean and well-run. That said, a couple of things could be improved: First, the pain relief. I was given paracetamol post-op, and the packaging said “effervescent tablet.” No one explained that this meant it needed to be dissolved in water. Unless you still remember GCSE chemistry, that’s not exactly obvious. I swallowed it whole and nearly choked. A quick verbal warning would’ve avoided that completely. Second, the number of grafts. You’re not told upfront or during the procedure how many grafts they plan to extract, and even after the procedure, you’re only given an estimate. There’s no final confirmed count. I get that hair density and quality vary from person to person, but for something this personal and expensive, I expected more transparency. Overall, the surgical experience was smooth, but these are things Vinci should address to make the patient journey clearer and safer. ------------------------------------------------------- Quick feedback to your comment Thanks for your response. To be clear, cost was never the issue. My concern is transparency. Density is directly related to the number of grafts, and without knowing how many were actually extracted and implanted, it becomes difficult for a client to assess the effectiveness of the procedure or compare results realistically. Saying you don’t go by graft numbers might set you apart, but it also removes an important benchmark that clients commonly use to understand value and outcome. Full coverage is subjective unless supported by measurable data. Without this, we’re left to rely entirely on vague assurances, which isn’t ideal for something as personal and permanent as a hair transplant. I hope you take this as constructive feedback. Clients deserve clarity, especially when investing in medical procedures.

Had my hair tranaplant in December 23, all the staff are friendly and make it stress free. However the after care isn't great, I had the wrong type medication sent to me, I chose to have the tablets insted of the fluid, on the second round the fluid was sent instead. I struggled to book my 12 month check up due to work, when I managed to book it in I mentioned that I was concerned as the areas where I had my transplant still look thin, especially on the crown, still to this day I see very little improvment to the crown, the hairline is good, but I would imagine I would need a second transplant. On the 12 month check up, they discussed MSP at £1100 which I thought was very expensive, I requested further info to be sent to me which was never recieved.

Had an amazing experience at Vinci London, staff were really friendly and explained everything thoroughly throughout the day, felt really relaxed on the bed and they even had a tv with Netflix and music to keep you occupied which was helpful, provided some nice food too and the aftercare was well explained so I was feeling confident when leaving. An amazing experience, for a life changing procedure After a lot of research I decided to go with Vinci, I first went for a consultation with Kevin in Birmingham who was great, dealt with my enquiry , got me booked in at a convenient date and sent me all my pre op guides . from then on the medical team take over sending you the relevant info a week before and also a call to talk through any concerns. on the day there was a bit of confusion and myself and another person both arrived a little early but we went in and sat in the waiting room which was comfortable I was then taken up to my own little private room ( where you get changed and have dinner etc) I was looked after by a team of staff from when I arrived , they all introduced there selves and were very attentive all day, first the surgeon talks you through what will happen , he then drew lines of the new hairline which he makes sure your ok with, from there the team all work together throughout the day on the treatment, my treatment started around 9 and was done by 3:30 including a dinner break For 95% of the time it was absolutely pain free and I was very relaxed I am really pleased with the new hair line that has been created , I need to now wait 4-5 months to get the next part done which I am very excited about after this experience the only bit I found I little uncomfortable, was the injections in the donor area as my skin was very sensitive around that area , for future i will look at numbing cream maybe, the injections on my temple were a lot less painful .....But dont let this put you of as this was one min of pain for a life changing experience, and will happily do this all over again you are also given an aftercare kit which has all of the relevant items in that i will need for the next few post op weeks 10/10 for this team genuinely
