Great products, but should limit the use of the hot comb on the ends without smoothing them first.
Hi Renee. I've never had this complaint. I've been navigating your hair by going in behind another person you go to right before you come to me. From my understanding the person has been using the wrong or products not formulated for your hair your, in turn, has caused me to clean up someone else's mistake that caused your hair to need extra TLC and nursing back to health. Before you left your last appointment you informed me what the other young lady used on your hair that made your ends unacceptable and unhealthy. So glad I took my time looking for my next stylist because Nikia is the truth! Not only did she arrange to see me same day, but I felt welcomed & heard from the moment I walked in & for the duration of my appointment. She took her time discussing proper hair care & the bonus for me is that we were able to connect spiritually. I walked in looking like the ugly duck but left feeling like a million bucks! Lol. My hair is so soft, shiny, light, bouncy, and healthy. I'm definitely going back & can't wait to see her again! I am super specific with who does my hair, and it took me almost my whole life to find Nakia but I’m am blessed I did! My hair has never looked or felt so good! I have been looking for a black salon for 4 years. I moved to AZ in 2020. I have not been able to find a hairdresser. I noticed Yah's Black Hair Care from doing a search. I had my first appointment in October 2023. I received so many compliments on my hair. I was so shocked at the length of my hair because I wear it naturally. Yah was so professional. She advised me how to care for my hair. She stated the care is different because we live in a desert. She took the time to discuss my hair and how to care for it while it was in the silk press. I would recommend her to every person of color. She takes her time with you. Very polite and knowledgeable. I am so happy I found her.
