I was very pleased with the services provided at Ziggy Artistry, from the clean and pretty space to my shampoo w/ scalp massage (done by Mersi, the best ever!) ,to my silk press done by Ziggy (on natural hair) and ofcourse customer service ,was all a very pleasant experience . Ziggy pointed out and educated me on the issues my hair was having and suggestions to improve said concerns. She also showed me how to maintain my silk press. I did the "sock method" (look up on youtube) on my hair and the results were lovely, I felt beautiful on mother's day - Thanks again! , look forward to my next hair care appointment.

I wrote this review a while ago but never had the chance to post. So I’m Not sure if the stylist I had is still there but my review speaks to my overall experience at the salon. Check it out if you have the time. I found this place by searching google maps and was drawn to it by its positive reviews. I'm from the city and recently moved to New City and found that most places up here have high reviews anyway, so I wasn't too sure how the services would turn out in reality. Ziggy’s high reviews are all deserved and exceeded my expectations, however! I have been to hair salons in New City where I had to wait for the stylist to be ready for me despite having an appointment and I've visited salons that charge a lot and do not give you the same results. In short, the salon, the receptionists, the music, and the service were all on point. The vibe was fun, welcoming, and I felt cared for. You won't be disappointed! More about my experience below: I had booked an appointment via phone call and received a text message confirming my appointment but my name was spelt incorrectly. I didn't think it was a big deal, but I went ahead and I created my online profile sent via an email and corrected my name. When I got the reminder text the day of my appointment, I was surprised to see my name was corrected! I thought this spoke to their level of service and attention to how technology is used and monitored. On the day of my appointment, I was running 10 mins late from work and called in advance to let them know and they had no issue. When I arrived, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who remembered I had called and said it wasn't a problem. They didn't make me wait and took me right away to get started. When you walk in there is a room to the right and another once you walk in further on the left. I think the rooms may be used for braiding or other private services, as I saw a women getting her hair braided. I thought this was so considerate and cool for a costumer, but I wasn't there for braiding myself, so I'm only assuming. Anyway, I met my stylist Joanne. She asked me about the products I use, the cut I was looking for and if I had questions about the hair glaze and hair gloss, which again I thought was so great because it spoke to her preparedness. She knew more or less what I was already there for. To note, they do hair glazes, but not glosses, so I ended up going for a glaze anyway. Joanne even helped me pick a color to help me transition into my natural color which I expressed was my goal. She was patient and realistic with my options that were closest to my hair color but that also would look good. She recommended I get a mask to support the damage my hair had taken from the blonde balayage styles I had. She took pictures before the cut and after the cut so I could see everything she was doing and offered me the chance to consent or change my mind if I wanted to. She washed my hair after the cut. Each time she touched my hair for a rinse or wash, she would give me a massage. She asked about the water and the pressure and was very attentive. Once the protein mask was done and it was time to dry my hair, she took her time to straighten it and gave the ends a little flip. Nothing felt rushed and I truly felt pampered. I had never styled my hair this way before and I felt so sexy and fresh. At the end, she recommended some shampoos and mask to do at home which I bought. Together, the price with the cut, the glaze, the mask, the style, and the products all came out to less than what I had paid for at another salon in New City. To end, a few weeks later, I got a thank you card with a little surprise discount card. Overall, this place really makes you feel special and thought about. Ziggy is the place to go!

I’ve been going to Ziggy for years. This year I decided to add some tracks for my son’s wedding. Ziggy gave me quality hair with the perfect style. She dyed the hair so that it blended perfectly with my natural hair. I removed the tracks and went back to a silk press but decided to reuse the hair for a full weave months later. After three months, I had the hair taken out and reinstalled and it still blends perfectly.. It is in the same condition that it was when I first bought it. No shedding, fading, gaps…nothing. It was worth every dime! Thanks Ziggy…You are a master at your craft!!❤️
